6:57 love that feature. I have an older model but it doesn't seem to unscrew. Been looking for a replacement because the motor burnt out, after around 8 years. They do last several years.

Dear Bernice, I hope Kenwood pays you a commission for doing such a good job showing their product. I bought a Kenwood food processor that was less fancy than this model and it lasted up to 30 years... a bit hard to say for certain because I had the tiniest bench space in a nasty rental kitchenette with faulty oven for 12 years so ... But I really appreciate your lovely clear demonstration and warmth and humour. I'd love to know which traditional African food you were referring to? I like to find out about wholesome food. Mwah mwah 🐨😘🙏
Ohhhh silly me, I found the link to your Akara if I remembered correct spelling. It seems a little similar in a way to Middle Eastern falafels which are made out of chickpeas. I wondered if one cannot tolerate onions, can one substitute a little onion flavoured oil instead of adding the water? Can one bake instead of frying and it still be palatable? Or even fry on non stick fry pan. Of course I would love to try the real dish the way you cook it, it looks delicious! Best wishes and thanks again 🌻🐝

Yes that's the correct spelling (Akara), ooh that's nice, I've heard of falafel and hope to try it someday.
I haven't tried making akara without Onions, as Onions is what gives it that wonderful and unique flavour and taste. Growing up akara is always deep fried, I've not heard or seen baked akara, but might give it a try 😀.

Yes it blends beans very well. The mini glass chopper do handle nuts very well.

I love this brand because it has dicing blade unlike others that only has slicing and grating blade.i have searched for this particular brand in jumia and konga but it's not there although they have multi pro compact.pls where did you buy yours?.v subscribed already

I will say that this appliance depends on the usage. I cook alot and from scratch.
This blender did not serve me as I expected unlike the other kenwood product I've used in the past before getting this particular one.
However, I will say that if you are someone that doesn't cook often you can buy this product but if you cook a lot then you might consider going for something different.

I just bought this today and I did some dough. The base is all dirty with dough, did I do something wrong? How do I better clean in there?
No you did not do anything wrong, I noticed the dough tool doesn't do a neat job, I prefer using the knife blade to knead, it does the job better.
Hi Sister thank you for reviewing this product and made me buy one in Extra KSA because of Ramadan sale.
But sadly dicing attachment is missing also the safety bag for blades and the product in box is different. Also the warranty card is not included.
Im thinking of returning it

You'll have to soak the beans for some hours but from my experience it wasn't strong enough to blend beans especially if you are making it in large quantity say for get together, it can blend well after 2rounds and you're safe and you won't be disappointed, unlike the other kenwood model I've had which served me well. Hope this helps
