Ahh, the last episode of Jennglebells is out now. I pushed myself to film on an off day and it ended up having a really great one by the end of it! If you're having a bad one too, just know you can push yourself out of it. I recommend taking a shower, writing out a few pages to vent, reaching out to a loved ones and cooking something new!

Ya, I went to market and encountered an extremely rude old Aunty and it was the last day of the year and I got so irritated. Think she don’t like working on year end and vent out frustration to consumer when all I asked politely was an extra plastic bag to put another heavy products. Feeling abit frustrated that this happened on eve.

I'm so glad you pushed yourself to do this. This has forsure been my faviourate vlog of yours even all those with cool editing and all because of how connected and related i felt to you opening up about your off day and striving towards improving it by maintaining a positive attitude and surround yourself with loved ones. for some reason too this vlog has given me a lil bit of extra motivation to reach out and spend more time with my loved ones. ill definitely look back onnthis bideo when i need a boost when im having one of those days. please try to make more videos like these jenn when you open up more about your feelings because as brene brown has emphasised thr importance of vulnerability to feel connected, inspire and initiate change. honestly Jenn ive watched you for about 6-7 years and i think this might be one of the first few videos that i felt truly connected to you so please try to step out of your comfort zone more and be vulnerable because im sure many other of your viewers feel the same way too.

Finally, someone whom i can relate to. So many instagram influencers posts photos of huge ass trees with insane decorations and shelling out thousands on gifts and piling up the tree.
Imo, Christmas is really not all about the presents and festivity; it is really about family and love and appreciation.
Every holiday season, i feel so lonely sometimes cuz my family is not big on christmas so there is rarely a tree or even any presents at all
However, this year, i am just so grateful that I at least get to spend time with my family and just hang out all together.

i can't remember how long ago it was now that you said you wanted to be more open in your vlogs and i think there obviously had to be a bit of a transitional periodf for both you and us with that but your vlogs recently, you can tell how much more comfortable you are and in return it has really made me realise how much i can relate to you - finding myself laughing at all of the little things and feelings you have that i resonate so much with! it seems to be a much healthier way of vlogging because you can be yourself, talk about your feelings honestly and not feel like you have to be a constant persona all month, and at the same time we can watch and relate more and feel like the gap is smaller than it was before. watching this was like catching up with an old friend instead of watching a tv show! so therapeutic, thank you Jenn!

I love how much care you put into your mental and physical health. I only realized how much i took my health for granted after i got sick. But i am learning to take care of myself!! Watching this vlog has given me some new ideas to try out so thank you!
Hey Jenn! Just wanted to say that it is NOT an excuse to feel so sensitive the week before your period. Sometimes the best thing you can do IS to stay in and watch some reality tv while devouring a pizza! Be gentle with yourself. But I also love the attitude of actively trying to get yourself out of such a sucky mood. So happy you're feeling better. I have always loved this series. Keep it up gurl. Love you long time. ✌🏼❤️

Omg my grandpa used to take me to this mall EVERY weekend. Idk if it’s still there but there was a shop right outside of the food court that sold different cute thing and he would buy me something every time. Now that I think of it, it’s become one of my fondest memories and I’m so happy you reminded me of this place. Also that IS the best food court!!!

Sleepovers for the holidays are the best! My family all sleepovers at my grandparents house and we all wakeup Christmas morning together to open gifts. There's usually about 11 of us in total. Definitely a great tradition! Wishing you all the best Jenn!!

One of my favorite vlogs from you! I can completely relate to the moody PMS symptoms and feeling a rollercoaster of emotions. I used to get annoyed with myself because of that, but now I try to be more productive and conscious about my thinking to get out of that mindset. Self-care isn’t always easy, but I love that you show your struggles so openly with us. ❤️

It’s kinda overwhelming how social media just shaped the way we think about the body size and the particular ideal image that everyone is trying to fit in. Glad that you didn't completely isolate over the holidays. It's difficult being away from your partner and makes your time together all the more wonderful. Love how close you and your family are and that you come together throughout the year. Precious memories! Great seeing the korean themed places and food. I have been hearing a lot of good things about body scrubs in general as well as the korean one, so I might need to check it out soon.

Love what you said at the end about the beauty of bodies in all their sizes. I live in NYC and spend a lot of time on instagram internalizing concepts of thinness and beauty that I know have completely warped my sense of self. Moments like that when you are taken out of those spaces and recognize that beauty has nothing to do with thinness are so important. Honestly that just made me feel a lot better about getting dressed up to go out tonight for NYE and just enjoy my damn self. Love you

Happy holidays Jenn! I've been finding it hard these holidays too, Christmas in my family isn't what it used to be, people are all over the place and we don't have the family together all day any more. My nana turned 96 on Christmas Day and she is really starting to struggle which is heartbreaking. I have been away from my boyfriend for 2 1/2 weeks (and one more to go) so I'm not having the best time... But I'm trying to stay positive, enjoy this time off before I have to go back to work, and spend as much time with my family as possible before I head back to reality. Thanks for being so open in your vlogs, I've watched you for years and am so impressed and proud of how much you've grown. Keep doing you, happy new year 💕

I always wanted to go to a Korean spa - one of my goals when I get to Korea! I love the name jjimjilbang as well! Christmas can be wonderful but at the same time a lot of work and I often feel exhausted even before it even happens. Definitely make sure to keep track of your mood and cycle. I finally was diagnosed with PMDD (Pre Menstrual Dysmorphia Disorder). It’s like a complete switch from being okay to extremely depressed and suicidal.

Hi Jenn! This video is so refreshing to watch. Not that it's nice seeing others miserable or have bad days. But the fact that you peaked so quickly and only showed the extravagant trips, "perfect" Instagram influencer friends, expansive free products, sponsorship videos one after the other etc. It does make others slowly feel unrelatable. But in real life, you're just like many. I hate being alone especially when the man is busy at work and even though how much I try to stay busy myself I always end up calling a friend to do something with. I can tell, just like me, you only need that much me time, and then it can get depressing. It's also really humble and nice to see that you have non influencers, regular girl next door friends. All that 'yasss hunny' love and hugs at every social events make those who yearns your high life miserable. I'm still working on my own expectations in life. I've stop watching too much influencers; it does take a toll on your mind inevitably. But going back to yours today was nice. Keep it up and be you! Take care, Jenn!

I’ve been loving the Jennglebells vlogs-thank you for making them!! Just wanted to share that Pachinko was actually what got me into reading books written by Asian Americans. It wasn’t necessarily my cup of tea but I appreciate what it brought to the table. If you’re looking for stuff to watch/read about Korean history & culture, I HIGHLY recommend the Reply series (the 1988 one is my favorite because I watched it with my parents and they would end up sharing their own stories from that time period). As a Korean-American, Mr. Sunshine (another top-notch kdrama) is really interesting to watch because it explores a lot of the historical/political interactions between the US and Korea and how a Korean-American is caught between them. These shows helped me love & understand my ethnic identity a whole lot more 💕 I hope you’re able to check these out or find something that helps you get that understanding in a way that best suits you~ Wishing you a happy new year, Jenn! ✨

OMG JENNN I'm the same...I have never experienced any deep loss in my life and I'm so afraid that I can't handle it if it happens someday O_O but I also feel strangely blessed for being aware that nothing is forever because I can always decide to cherish each moment with all my loved ones to the fullest! And it also taught me that the most important things in life are truly your family and friends and all your loved ones. Nothing is more important than that!
