Orbit Culture were mainly inspired by Gojira and Metallica in their vocalist/founder own words. Obviously they've gone their own way- harder and faster than both, you can still hear Hetfield in his cleans. They have some great bangers.
I don’t know much about Gojira. But I get the Metallica aspect. Looking forward to more from this band!

Oh god I'd forgotten about Scar Symetry, not heard them for years, that's a great call. Falling into the Orbit Culture rabbit hole is almost mandatory for any metal reactor nowadays. You wont regret it, they are astonishing.

I got to see them at Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY, (they were legit the only reason I got tickets) and holy crap… they did not disappoint. Huge fan from the very first song I ever listened to.

I personally have never heard anyone liken Orbit Culture to Scar Symmetry before, but you are 100% correct. Also, Scar Symmetry do have a new album coming out at some point in the future. It's apparently already fully done, but Napalm Records decides when it's released and haven't set a date for it as far as I know. The last album (Singularity: Phase I - Neohumanity) was the first of a trilogy for the "Singularity" series. Singularity II is called "Phase II - Xenotaph".
That is great news!! I use to listen to them on the regular, but for some reason I had not listened for awhile.

OC have become my favorite band and the song “Rebirth” quickly stole the top spot as my favorite song of all time. I’d suggest all of their music, but one thing must be done in order. Their music video trilogy in order is “Nensha,” “Rebirth,” and “The Shadowing.” Since you said you are looking for Halloween music, the trilogy works because there is a goblin type figure in it. Also, since Christian left Scar Symmetry, I couldn’t listen to them anymore because he is so much better then the two vocalists that took his place.
Missed it for Halloween but we will do the trilogy! And as for the SC vocals, as long as it gets the job done.

If you guys wanna do more Orbit Culture, I'd suggest The Flight Of The Fireflies. The breakdown in that one is one of the best ones ever created imo.
