I can sleep peacefully at night knowing I wasn't the only one who had a weird fascination with late 19th- early 20th century ships/maritime disasters during my childhood!
In May of 2012, when I was in 2nd grade, I found a Scholastic article covered in the footprints of many of my peers. I opened it up and read of a mysterious ship called the Titanic. With that set off years of obsession. The intense memories and emotions that I developed have long been forgotten, but now as an 11th grader looking back at this video I watched from years long gone, I remember bits of how I once felt and actually sent shivers down my spine. THESE were the good days long gone. I wonder how it will be like when I am in my 70s and I think back. Ill probably cry. From 2012 to 2016, I had SO many great memories tied to this obsession of the Titanic and her sister ships. Hell, I even learned Morse code and became a ham radio operator just because the Titanic had a telegraph. Dammit, this is so sad.
Damn I feel you, I have so many fond memories just loving the titanic, brittanic and Lusitania, I made a scale model of the titanic when I was nine years old. Now I am 14 but am still 9 mentally, with a soft spot for these ships in my heart and I still make models from airfix and revel of ww2 planes. The nostalgia makes me tear up though.

No Way! I always read about those ships too. I used to have the book Ghost Liners, and an English project I did in grade 12 was drawing a picture of something that happened in the book. I drew a picture from the part that explains the Lusitania being struck by a torpedo, and they're was a family picnicking on shore further off, and they saw everything.
I used to watch this with my grandma, now that she is not with us anymore, sometimes I come here and I watch this to remember her❤️ I miss you, Irene❤️

I watched this video when I was 5 years old. I come back here from time to time. I'm surprised this video is still on CZcams. Ahh nostalgia... I remember when I had a passion for such old ships hah
I first watched this video back in 2012, I was obsessed with these ships and their fate. And I'm really grateful for the choice of music. After hearing Sleeping Sun I searched for it and found Nightwish. This band became my soul music. And the Britannic...these stories about ships are terrifying, but I love them. Y'all heard of the Wilhelm gustloff (might of spelled it wrong.) It sank in the Baltic sea killing over 9400 people and is the deadliest maritime disaster. Search it up.

Wow 9 years it's been , and this video doesn't just have music that I remembered in my head for 9 years it still feels incredibly dark how all the people were terribly injured or killed on the brittanic
Must have been so scary to have seen those spinning propellers while the ship was sinking. They are still one of the top ten biggest propellers in the world
Today marks 100 years and 1 week since the sinking of this ship. I'm glad I too wasn't the only one obsessed with the Titanic, Britannic etc when I was under the age of 13
The 100th anniversary of the sinking of the HMHS Britannic, forgotten in history. Her sister ship the titanic, is so much more well known, but Britannic still had a tragic end. Rest in peace those who died in this tragedy 100 year ago on this exact day, on November 21st, 1916.
While only 30 people died on the Britannic compared to to the 1,496 lives lost on the Titanic, I still completely agree with you and rest in peace to those 1,524 people
The scenes in which it is daytime is the LUSITANIA. The Britannia never got bit by a torpedo, and none of their lifeboats flipped in midair. The only thing scary about the Britannica's sinking was the people who were sucked into the propellers.
Jonathan Manley Yes, only 30; of course not as many casualties as Titanic. _Carpathia_ was torpedoed three times off the Irish coast by U-55 in July 1918 and sunk, killing 5 of the 218 aboard.
I remembered i watched this at age 8 when i got my first tablet. I was making ships out of legos so this is the first video i watched. Thank you for creating childhood memories for everyone
I remember being super scared of the propeller part of the vid plus with the dark feeling of the background song. Thats the reason why I’m back. I wanted to feel that feeling again lol.
100 years ago today, this forgotten sister sank in the Kea channel. It's sad to think that barely anyone knows about the Britannic, but the Titanic has had several films made about it.
I’ve watched this video for almost 7 years. That passed by fast! If I count how many times I’ve watched this. It’s a lot. This my favorite classic CZcams video. One of the first videos I’ve watched on CZcams🤯
Ahh this video... I remember, I used to watch all Titanic, Britannic, Lusitania sinking music videos. And this video. Ahh.. it gave me chills. May the God rest in peace those who died in the accident in all the sunken ships. No matter of the difference from the nations and religions. 😞🥀
Really nostalgic when listening to this song again. It's been so long since 11 years ago I watched this video and it's still here. I was so fascinated by Tinanic back then that I painted a lot of pictures of the ship. Now I want to find those pictures again but I won't be able to find them again.
I used to watch this back when I was like 9 or 10 and was obsessed with those beautiful old ships, I’m 16 and soon to be 17 and I decided to search up brittanic sinking and it’s still here after all these years!

actually only 30 people died
Warren Plays Care to explain your knowledge on how only 30 people died?
Wow 9 years it's been , and this video doesn't just have music that I remembered in my head for 9 years it still feels incredibly dark how all the people were terribly injured or killed on the brittanic
Only 30 died And only a small number was hurt.
Must have been so scary to have seen those spinning propellers while the ship was sinking. They are still one of the top ten biggest propellers in the world
I haven’t listened to this song since 2015 😭💀
Today marks 100 years and 1 week since the sinking of this ship. I'm glad I too wasn't the only one obsessed with the Titanic, Britannic etc when I was under the age of 13

L0K0LIGHTNING Reviews and more my birthday is 5 days before it's anniversary
The 100th anniversary of the sinking of the HMHS Britannic, forgotten in history. Her sister ship the titanic, is so much more well known, but Britannic still had a tragic end. Rest in peace those who died in this tragedy 100 year ago on this exact day, on November 21st, 1916.
While only 30 people died on the Britannic compared to to the 1,496 lives lost on the Titanic, I still completely agree with you and rest in peace to those 1,524 people
omg this was my childhood! I was watching this over and over back when i was 7. Now I’m 20 yrs old. Wow.
I use to watch this when i was like 8, happy it’s still around
The scenes in which it is daytime is the LUSITANIA. The Britannia never got bit by a torpedo, and none of their lifeboats flipped in midair. The only thing scary about the Britannica's sinking was the people who were sucked into the propellers.
Holy hell, I remember watching this when I was like 10 or 11 (maybe 12) years old. The memories this brings back...
Glad to know I wasn’t the only 8 year old who was into this when I was a child
me too
it was the good old day
in 2012, when I was 9, i watched this REPEATEDLY, EVERY SINGLE DAY LMAO. Nostalgia
Today marks the 99th anniversary of the sinking of the Britannic.
God rest her and the 30 lives lost in the incident.
30?! Well, not as much as "Titanic" or "carpathia"
+Jonathan Manley two beautifully designed ships, May everyone Rest in peace.
Jonathan Manley Yes, only 30; of course not as many casualties as Titanic. _Carpathia_ was torpedoed three times off the Irish coast by U-55 in July 1918 and sunk, killing 5 of the 218 aboard.
Amen
+Christopher R. You watching the Ravens still? I'm quite shocked by how the outcome of the season went.
Ladies and gentlemen, the video responsible for 99% of Britannic related videos using Sleeping Sun in the background
I remembered i watched this at age 8 when i got my first tablet. I was making ships out of legos so this is the first video i watched. Thank you for creating childhood memories for everyone
I remember watching this video in 2012... Glad to see its still up.
Today marks the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Britannic.
God rest her and the 30 lives lost in the incident. They will not be forgotten.
The lives lost on this boat is 30 but the titanic is over 1400 so it is not that bad
Christopher R. and I made a lego britannic to celebrate
Christopher R. I was incorrect the lives lost on the titanic was 1,503 not 1,400 and the sinking was way more saver
You said "over 1400" at first. *1,503* is over 1,400.
Christopher R.bom
I was watching this when i was 5 years old. So much memories. I was so fascinated with Titanic, Britannic & Olympic history.
Damn. I just remember watching this video when I was 5. The amount of times I’ve watching this tho LOL
I remember being super scared of the propeller part of the vid plus with the dark feeling of the background song. Thats the reason why I’m back. I wanted to feel that feeling again lol.
I remember being obsessed with these ships. Titanic. Brittanic, and the Lusitania.
Same lol,
Tho I also liked the MS Estonia ferry, and SS Andrea Doria
Actually it's 101 Anniversary Of Brittanic
The Violinspration violin lessons not yet. In November it will be

In 2018 It Will Be 103 Anniversary.
100 years ago today, this forgotten sister sank in the Kea channel.
It's sad to think that barely anyone knows about the Britannic, but the Titanic has had several films made about it.
The Confident Gamer Agreed. When it was Titanic's 100th years anniversary it was all over the news, but nobody knows about britannic
The Confident Gamer Forgotton, almost like the lusitania..
Man I missed the early 2010s after 2015 it feels like things started to go down hill.
I’ve watched this video for almost 7 years. That passed by fast! If I count how many times I’ve watched this. It’s a lot. This my favorite classic CZcams video. One of the first videos I’ve watched on CZcams🤯
truly emotional. great ship. Britannic will always be in our hearts.
Ok 3:57 would be equally amazing and terrifying to watch in real life
I think is more terrible see that 3:40
God i remember first seeing this video 7+ years ago. I’m glad to see its still here
Same
Ahh this video...
I used to watch this back when I was like 9 or 10 and was obsessed with those beautiful old ships, I’m 16 and soon to be 17 and I decided to search up brittanic sinking and it’s still here after all these years!
same here i also was 10 year old when i watched this video and i was addicted . now i'm also 17 and watching this video song again
This went so hard when I was in my sinking ship phase. Seeing it again tempts me to get back into marine history
Me too
I thought this didnt exist any longer. Such good memories 😩
