The way Brian says "Oh, that's okay, no charge" even when he was down on his luck shows Brian is pure at heart
Same goes for Peter, he didn’t get mad at Brian for messing up his windshield and invited him for dinner since he didn’t have any change to give him.
And that’s how Brian grew to live with the Griffins forever.
was pure* he became worse in the next couple seasons
@@Enviri ikr I miss the old Brian
That’s part of the hustle, guilt trip lmao
Wow everyone was so different in this family
Peter: he was nicer to meg and the kids and a better husband to Lois
Lois: cared about her kids more
Meg: she was actually loved and quite smart
Chris: just been the same but had an earring
Brian: less of a creep, a nice guy, quagmire liked him, didn’t do anything that quagmire hates him for now.
Stewie: way more evil now he’s gotten lazy, was really one of the smartest in the family
Chris was not the same, he was very good at art but was kinda a doofus, yet not in the way he is now. He's pretty much a idotic pervert now
Stewie is still the smartest
@@redeadbone9007 Writers of the show have gotten pretty lazy in the last 10 years.

It's amazing to see Peter so wholesome back in the first seasons.

Well, compared to his current self, peter in these seasons still has a bit of problems and is a misogynist, but at-least he isnt a literal psychopath
Not just Peter all of them.
@@harbour2118 whats wrong with being misogynist
I love how this isn't even canon anymore lol, it's like watching an alternative universe
At this point everything after Season 5 or hell even 6 or 7 just isn't Canon anymore.
Family Guy and the Simpsons are both super inconsistent at times
This will always be cannon to me and there's nothing you can say that will change my mind.
Uh...Family Guy never had canon. It doesn't have a continuity, it's not the Simpsons.
Meg was once revealed to have a deformity under her hat. Several characters died just to show up perfectly fine next episode.
You are mixing up FG with other stuff because you are used to animated series having continuity.
@@Shendue It's more of a semi-canon since continuity does exist in Family Guy like how Diane Simmons and the others who were killed in that episode never came back, but they had a flashback to how James Woods came back to life and also the old Clam owner getting killed and Jerome taking over for future episodes. And of course there is Brian getting killed for real and that being a mini arc.
So while many things don't carry over, some do.
I almost forgot about this.Seeing how they met really touched me..
This is the first time they mention how Brian met the Griffins. But
in the episode
The Man with Two Brians", Brian shows the family home videos of him as a puppy living in the Griffin's house. /
In the episode Short Cuts - "they go back to saying Peter found Brian as a homeless adult dog on the streets."
@@DanBen07 It's a continuity error. FG is full of them. But it is generally considered that the earlier episodes are canon.
@@sugandhakohli Since i made that comment - I've seen the episode from season 18 called shortcuts. Which is about Brian encountering a dog he knew from when he was an adult dog homeless & Peter found him for the 1st time & took him home to live with them.
Turns out Brian was just saying women for sex only even if quagmire did it at least his honest with it when running for president and has humility and real life feelings and lessons but Brian is just like quagmire but worser.

Glenn has no excuse for hating Brian for living with his best friend and not paying rent, Peter invited him to his life
Glen was projecting at Brian at how many failures he had over him, but wants to rub it in further because Brian's resolve is weak.
Notice how much shit Glen does that's similar to Brian.
jayjay86443 Not to mention that Glenn still thinks he is a good person when he only wants to become mayor cause he doesn’t want to live in a town run by his enemy, or that Brian did something right and closed Glenns cat cafe which was a health violation and adversely Brian ruined his access to most places since he is still a dog
Another Family Guy indicates that Brian has lived with the Griffins since he was a puppy. It was the New Brian episode. This show has no real continuity.
It’s sad cuz in early seasons Quagmire and Brian were friends and got along pretty well. Not sure why they had to make both so dislikable nowadays.
@@evanlee6644 and that makes Glenn justified for hating Brian for that reason, the earliest episodes had Quagmire try to hit on Lois and do every sex joke imaginable

I would prefer a theatrical movie
Just no shit writers.
The one who made the first 5 seasons they need to write it.

If this was present day Family Guy, Peter would have beat Brian and stole his spray bottle
Yes true
Fr, It’s weird seeing him be nice to Brian and let him into his house free of charge, when later in the show he would slam Brian’s jaw into a fire hydrant and not pay for his surgery over a chew toy.
Puerto-Rican
A lot of people don't know this but Peter and Brian were the first 2 characters. The show was originally going to revolve around them before being a family.
i can see that being better
Yep, Life of Larry and Larry & Steve.
I honestly liked the Griffins back then like this. I know many people may complain how Brian and Stewie became like bet friends nd Brian and Stewie having their adventures but I love them. It's cute. Other than that I loved how everyone cared for one another.
yeah Imagine the storyline of the first seasons mashed with the intriguing story line of Stewie and Brain maturing together. Like hell whens the last episode of family guy gonna be aired?
They corrupted the show to stand out
I miss how pure their relationship was.
i miss this version of Stewie.
I can't believe how much different season 1 of Family Guy is compared to the rest of the seasons
Same thing with That’s So Raven. Chelsea actually had a brain in the first season (and in season 2 to be fair). It’s like watching a completely different show when you compare season 1 Chelsea to how she was in seasons 3 and 4.
During season 1 & 2 the show felt moe grounded. I'd say when Family guy got cancelled by fox in early 00s (then revived) was when the direction of the show changed.
Personally i prefer the old family guy.
@@Anonymous_Anon882 They call it flanderization. Sitcom characters becoming one-dimensional caricatures of themselves as time goes on. Family Guy, The Simpsons, Friends, even American Dad are all guilty of it
@@beardedbaldie2698 yeah american dad too, ronger aint as brutal to the family anymore and instead of being a russian klaus acts more fish for animal gags, i still like steve hes actually gotten better being able to do stuff on his own instead of being a wimp and crying like other seasons. not much different from haley and jeff thankfully. stan use to be a terminator with hand to hand combat in earlier episodes only to get redcon and bullied by a german mexican dude mix like he dont know how to fight. also stan use to be more serious and on edge and talked like a robot for the most part in earlier seasons, now they kind of made him modern stewie but it does not bug me that much.
