We were there Sunday. It was good. We stayed at the Wild Bear Inn, just right across the street. We came from Alabama and enjoyed our stay.
They are good about warming things up or cooking it a little more if you ask. Everything else looked perfect.
Looks delicious, but I have to agree...crispier hash browns for sure. I'm not a big breakfast eater, but when we go out,I love some hash browns. Thank you for sharing. We always see lines outside this place, but have never stopped for breakfast.

If memory serves this place was once named Log Pancake House or something similar and over the years have eaten there many times and our experience was very similar to yâallâs. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for the review. We ate there Friday the 25th. Food was good not the best in town but still good. The service was excellent. We would certainly eat there again. Thanks again for the work you do. We enjoy the fruits on your labor.

My wife and I stopped there a couple years ago and had a similar issue. It just was not a successful visit that day. Since then we have found a mom & pop place a couple locals told us about and we love it. I agree regarding hash "browns". They should be hot with browned shreds, and of course I like a little onion in mine. I Like a lot of pepper in my country gravy and sausage gravy with the biggest catheads I can get. Heck, I'll even eat the gravy on toast! Thanks for sharing the review with us. Keep up the great work you two!
Weâve passed by this restaurant many times, but have never had a meal there. I appreciate the honest review. The French Toast did look tasty. Now I want some! Iâm with you on the hash browns, Karen.
Been eating there since I was a kid in the 80's. Nothing ever really stood out as being the best I've ever had, but the food is aways good, and I've never had a bad meal. We always try to go there at least once when we go to the Smoky Mountains. Great review as always. ;-)
Been by there many times but have never tried it. Looks delicious but I'm like Karen, I like my hash browns to be brown. I think I would have sent those back. Thanks for sharing.

I stopped by here yesterday am and I enjoyed it. I got the big bear breakfast with grits, bacon, biscuit, and scrambled eggs. I also got a bowl of chip beef gravy. I thought it was delicious

We have a friend that works at the hotel next to the smoky pancake house and he goes there all the time, and we go when we come from s.c.

Well I'm glad most of it was good to y'all. I completely agree about the hash browns needing to be more brown, with them coming out cold I believe someone was just rushed and didn't quite get them right. Thanks for taking us along. God bless!

I have been there a few times. When we went there we would camp at river edge campground
My family and I ate there and it was good but my favorite is Reagan's pancake. Have you all ever eaten there
We always ate there until about 4 years ago we had a bad experience...ordered food and waited and waited and waited and started to notice that people who came in behind us were getting their food. We started to think they may charge us for table rental since we had been there so long....until we ask about our food...it had been sitting on the counter forever waiting to be picked up by our server who was busy with other things. The food finally came and was COLD, but being a diabetic and waiting so long for our food, we went ahead and ate enough to keep my blood sugar from dropping...that was the last time we ate there. We know you can have good and bad experiences at anytime when dinning out, but we found a better place called Reagan's and we love their buffet. Hope you will try them. Thanks for the review.......it let us know that it's not really changed that much.

When hubby and I eat breakfast "out" we always ask for hash browns "extra crispy".

I agree with the hash browns, they have to be crispy. Places like this, if there many hiccups each time we go, thatâs kinda it for us. We wonât return to the restaurant.

Nice video, with lots of good foods, yes a little pricey..
We ate at Shoneys when we were in PF a month ago..for breakfast and then an early supper. Had noticed the many pancake places scattered in the area. Everything looked good on your meal, but the hash browns..I would have sent them back. Though most likely, because Iâm on no carbs now, (keto diet), and have been since last summer) my husband might have ordered them. Thank yâall for sharing this adventure. We are looking forward in returning to the area next spring or summer. God Bless.
We camp at Riveredge and eat here several times while we are in the mountains. A must is the berry bites and the hashbrown casserole. So glad you tried the place.

Weâve eaten there several times over the years. Usually when weâre leaving Gatlinburg for home. Itâs not bad. But there are other restaurants we prefer. Thank you for the review.

French toast looked really good. The hash browns looked uncooked almost.
Food all looked good except for the hash browns. Needs to be browned and crunchy! I usually find those kind of shredded hash browns to be kinda blah anyway, honestly. Give me home fries!
We have eaten there once and I wasnât all that impressed. The food was ok but it wasnât something I would go back and try again. The omelet looked good though.
I swear I could eat breakfast everyday 3 times a day ,,Only thing you were missing was pancakes and Extra bacon ! Lol

I think I'll pass and go to the Waffle House instead. They are fast and friendly and the food is hot. Not to mention the famous hash browns! Yummy! In general, this place looks expensive for just warm food. Thanks for the video!
