Arcade1Up needs new variety game cabs like Street Fighter lll with 3rd Strike as the marquee game, House of the Dead, Cruisin' series, Mortal Kombat 4, Double Dragon, Tekken, Silent Scope, Virtua Cop and Virtua Fighters. All on this list would be a breath of fresh on adding any of these cabs into our homes.
Thanks for pointing that out, I noticed it's at OVC now also. It must've only been exclusive to Atari.com during preorders, now that they are starting to ship you can get them everywhere.
BiggggggyD I have a question, it was brought up in a live stream regarding the XL being top heavy now that it and the Deluxe are Riserless, what do you think? I can see this being a bigger issue on the Deluxe as its dimensionally smaller.
I think it could be a problem, I've seen lots of videos of the deluxe cabinets rocking around side to side during gameplay, especially on carpet. I would say get some 3 or 4 inch furniture risers off of Amazon, they should help stabilize it.
Oh sure…. OF COURSE they finally make a marquee that doesn’t need to be replaced… On the cab I specifically want to re-skin to something OTHER than SFII.
They took too long for time crisis and the retro shooter from china came out few months back and its going to screw up these sales as well. I bet this is the last shooter they do unfortunately. Maybe a T2 Deluxe but i think this will be it . Hopefully they keep making cabs though . I cant buy too many as i dont have room left but its always fun to watch and I hope people keep enjoying them and the company is able to somehow grow.
I hope they do another shooter, if they do they have to do it right with the proper hardware and good guns. Doubtful but I'd like to see a Halo Fireteam Raven or The Walking Dead!

Great list, any of these would make good additions, the fact we haven't seen SFIII or House of the Dead yet is surprising!
The question is when will see new cabs that we haven't had yet. So many good titles being left on the table.
Agreed, they need to do something new, never done before early next year to keep people excited again.

I think they are still using the same decals. I think it is a way to save money not to put the plastic over the control deck.

Time Crisis is also available from Walmart, and it's shipping right now. I ordered mine and it's arriving on Monday. Can't wait!
