  • I am a big fan of the ROCKLER crosscut sled. Cutting wider pieces on my job site saw can be difficult. I added a support to the back of my saw stand that makes it much easier to more safely and accurately cut wider boards

I am new to woodworking and saw the sled at a Rockler store up in Michigan. Have been researching and came across your video. Really like the modification you presented. Good work!

Great idea for your saw, or any that might have a wood side for attachment. My older cabinet saw doesn’t have that, but you prompted me to do some further research. I found a Jay Bates video where he builds Infeed Support arms that should work for my configuration, including for rip cuts, as well. But thank you for both your original recommendation for the Rockler Sled, which I bought and now this additional improvement idea, too.

Thank you Tom. I also saw Jay Bates video. His version looks great too. I also have another video about adding an infeed for ripping. If you get a chance, Check it out. czcams.com/video/pKBi48f7PfQ/video.html Thanks again for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it!
