    • @TaraMunikar
      @TaraMunikar Před 2 měsíci +9

      @@fernandofonseca2020 I think creators are legally required by the FTC to disclose sponsored content (at least in the US where I think this channel is based in), and if you’re caught not letting your audience know that you’re getting paid to promote something, you can be fined.
      That being said, there are creators who don’t follow the law and just hope that people don’t report them. However, Made with Lau has created sponsored content in the past by Kikkoman and in those videos, they do explicitly say that they were sponsored pretty prominently. So I’m inclined to believe that if they were sponsored by Costco, they would mention it in the video like they have in the past for other companies.

    Hello. You might want to check. Usually the bag on frozen fish will tell you NOT to defrost it in the plastic bag it comes in. I'm guessing the cheap plastic bags it comes in is OK when frozen but might leash chemicals when you defrost in the bag. Its best to remove the fish from the plastic when frozen, the defrost it in the fridge on a plate or defrost it a zipper bag or wrap in Saran Wrap.

    • @sonofjenova7
      @sonofjenova7 Před 2 měsíci +1

      It's not about leeching chemicals. It's because botulism can develop if there are spores present in an oxygen deprived environment. It's not an issue when frozen, but if left unfrozen for a longer time, the bacteria can begin to grow. Defrosting under water and then immediately opening it still minimizes the time. Best not to defrost slowly and let it sit in a warmer environment for too long. Resealing and defrosting again just reintroduces the same risk again. It's not about the quality of plastic, but exposure to air.
      Not sure what the actual likelihood of it being an issue is, but I'm sure the distribution companies will err on the side of caution to prevent lawsuits or health issues if people get sick.
      FWIW, I've defrosted vacuumed seal fish many times and have yet to get sick. But the time between defrosting and opening the package is usually less than 20-30 minutes which isn't all that long.
