So very grateful to all who participated in providing closed captions/subtitles in English!
I was too tired and sick (from a toxic environment!) to try to follow the monk’s words.
I know how hard it is for people whose first language is one of the southeast Asian languages to speak English and vice versa!
So, I very much appreciate all the effort and caring that went in to that process as well! ❤️

3:44 .... it is not only “unmindful” people who can be affected by the external environment .....
but people whose nervous systems have been injured by trauma can be extremely affected as well.
The extent of the effect can be partly dictated by when the trauma or traumas occurred, ie. how recent it was or they were.
There can be an acute stage immediately after trauma that can last for years and be very difficult to treat medically or in any other way.

Hi! I just joined and would like to see the proper spelling of the mantra used here to make sure I am saying it right - suma arahun?
    Thank you! 🙏
