  • Testing a "Game Mode" in ArmA 3.
    The main "features" are:
    - Solo or Multiplayer.
    - PvE or PvP. In PvE players will be the attackers. In PvP players will assume both roles.
    - One-time capture Sectors. Sectors from "Vanilla" Sector Control are used. Initially Sectors "belong" to defenders. When they are captured by the attackers, they "lock" and they are not able to "change hands" again.
    - Limited Respawn Tickets.
    - High Command. The "Vanilla" High Command modules are used to give the ability to players to control AI Forces to achieve their objectives. This is still in a testing phase to test how many AI Forces each player should start with and how to balance it in taking into account the player count for each side.
    For some time now, I am trying to create a really simplified "currency" system that players will be able to use to by all kind of things like: Assets (vehicles), Weapons (e.g. AT or AA), Ammo, Respawn Tickets, Equipment (e.g. suppressors, NVGs etc.) and in this case AI Forces under their Command.
