- Yes, the show is called Sheena Interrupted, even though when we first started recording, we thought it would be called Humorously Ever After! We are all still learning and building together, and that's part of the fun with us! We never shy away from a little real-time evolution, but so far, here are our ground rules and what you can expect from us (for now!) from this podcast! Forgive the HEA references for the first few episodes, but I can assure you that you are in the right place! I promise that the sound will improve starting next week (thank you kind man at Guitar Center for helping me choose the right gear to setup my studio at home!)
Thanks as always for being here on this wild ride with us! We can't wait to see where this leads us!

Very funny. But some people won't understand ...and it will stand with standard English. The Trid factor may really come into play when they hit like 100,000,000 on CZcams. Since we have been with them from the beginning, it means more to us. So many people still know nothing about the ID part of TRID. I'm so excited about this!! Him saying "I don't care what they say." Was a great example of him developing his character on the podcast. So good. "Screw you Rode" 🤣🤣🤣 keep them coming . Can't wait for all the Articles to be declared.

This was a great first podcast. I like the name change to Sheena Interrupted. Like someone else commented, lost count of how many times Trid cut in. Don't change, that what makes it great. Sheena must have the strongest smile muscles in the world as Trid is always making her laugh (another great thing about you both). I'm looking forward to many more and would love to see some guests visit too. Keep going, you guys are great!

When it comes to topics, I would like to know more about why you chose your respective careers, how hard it was to get where you are now and if what you have and do now is what you have always dreamed of doing.
Regarding guests: I really don't understand why you want to talk to Phil McGraw Sheena. But ok. I just hope, that there will be a lot of creative people, so authors, singers (duh), instrumentalists, sounddesigners, audio engineers, composers, of course CZcamsrs, etc. Regarding TRID's interests, I don't know anything about it, to be honest.

Just to piggyback on the career part: I'd also wanna know if they'd be happy if their kids chose the same careers as they did. The reason I'm adding that is because a lot of people think "oh it's fine for me, but I'd be disappointed if my kid did that".

Fantastic. I love that your next episode will tell your love story! You started to ask the listeners (before you got interrupted -- haha) about optimal length of the show. I did some research on podcast length before I started mine last year. Some new statistics came out in November of 2023 that supported my decision to land 20 minutes and 30 minutes. I also like TRID's idea of ending it abruptly. Anyway, the research said that podcasts in the know are getting shorter as the lockdowns have become a thing of the past. People are commuting again (more or less) which is where a lot of people consume their podcasts. Here are the statistics: 28% of people have a commute from 16-29 minutes. That is the highest category. 21% of people have 15 minutes of less. So that's 49% of the population, listening in cars for less than 30 minutes. If you go longer than that, most people will pause and return during the next commute (good) -- but some get distracted and never return (bad). So intuitively, this episode at 23 minutes was a good length. My podcast is fictional comedy (with paid actors), so this information was important as I enter the new year and write the next six episodes. I'll reply to this comment with the actual study, but you'll have to allow TRID to have his phone back so he can read it too. 🤣 P.S. Yeh, this is going to go well, LOL! I think "Sheena Interrupted" is a perfect title for the show. Trid does have a point though, "you can either have a podcast that makes you comfortable, or one that people enjoy listening to but you can't have both". I think that is what makes most great podcasts worth listening to.

So excited for this!!! I will say though, despite the fact that they’re high quality Rhode microphones, it’s harder to hear Trid at times 😭
I think because his voice is deeper / scratchier, and I think he’s not speaking closely enough to the mic (since he’s trying to stay out of frame)
And maybe more sound insulation is needed for the room - not sure since I don’t have any audio experience!
A lot wants a TRID, but I realized in this episode it takes a Sheena to deal with a TRID 😅
