I’ve used the cut buddy. I think that I agree with you. If you’re a beginner and don’t know how to find the line or don’t know what you’re doing, it helps.🔥 Eventually, if you keep cutting ,you should be good enough to create a clean lining ,unless you’re just lazy😂
absolutely bro. It's definitely a great product, but I'd consider it a transitionary product more so than a permanent one. The convenience is not that significant.
I watched three videos on Cut buddies. Every other video before this one was an amateur person who could not even hold the Clippers correctly cutting their own hair talking about themselves. This is the first video where an actual Barber who was holding the Clippers like a professional just cutting their hair.. great video
Ordering one right now!! Tired of paying for cuts ordered some oster fast feeds a ceramic blade and andis shaver all for $95 new.. just have to get the Andis slimline pro and I'm teaching myself how to cut.. I will wear a Durag till I get good at it loll
@@korrupt8689 I'm getting better now my g no more Durag. lineup starting to get extra crispy I dont have to use the cut buddy anymore.. Invest in the setup you won't regret it
You're a legend in cuts ✂️ brother nice video, i have the cut buddy and i recently bought the razor shaping tool....your video will be my guide in my next cut. Thanks!
Thanks alooot for remindeding me of my cutty buddy bought one but havent put it to use im a new barber and the edgeup is the main thing i gotta work at everything else im pretty good at it so for now gonna use the cutty buddy on my clients till i get ysed to the c cut than you so much!
I enjoy tapering the neck. But, even if the customer want a square or a curved line I tend to fade the neck area lighter than the rest of the hair anyways to give the client a long wait time for another haircut.
I like it like a box but with a small round on the corners not as rounded S the normal rounded but not to little of rounds to were it is a box think of like doing the box and the go diagonal of the horizontal next line and cut about an inch of so it would kinda be the shape of the bottom of a stop sign and repeat the same step on the two edges it creates until it is round
hey kev i wear glasses and i KNOW THE STRUGGLE BRO i cut my own hair and that is probably one of the most annoying things.... i used to do just a .5 all around with a lineup but recently started to fade it ....that took the stress level through the roof looool ..it takes me so long using the two mirrors having to check with glasses on and take them off to do certain parts i know how you feel ....great video btw another classic!!!!
Hey bro thanks for this don’t have a pencil but I got a cut buddy and the outliners bout to start trying in my self tomorrow tired of great faded bad line ups growing mine back in but wanna keep looking clean also..
Drawing the hairline with the cut buddy before using a hairliner. Is like using a pencil to draw a shape on paper before using circles to cut a shape from paper.
i loved the video. i went and bought the cut buddy immediately from their site. i just think you need this critique. i see alot of youtube videos that are for the entirity of the video making something happen or creating something or drawing something and then at the end the money shot of what you've been spending all that time watching them make is very short when the viewer wants it to be longer. That's what your video did. We spent all that time watching the whole video and then the money shot is just a few seconds i hardly could see both sides of your head. you literally didn't have a money shot that was you looking straight at the camera once you were done and the makeup was off your face. but besides that thanks for teaching me how to use this.
I like my back to be faded but I hate when I’m lining myself up I have to take my glasses 🤓 off sometime it make feel like my eyes playing tricks on me but the hold prices takes time I’m still trying to get the key to fading
It's weird how nobody who uses this tool ever trims the back of their necks, the only part of a DIY haircut that is even difficult. I asked the company if there is a guide that will fit a neck, they seem clueless as well and can't answer the question. My vision sucks too bad to do what you did in a mirror.
NOTIFICATION SQUIZAWWWDDD!!! How ya'll doing man! Work still coming 💪🏾
Cut Buddy is the truth. My line is crispy every week
this tip help alot. im tired of going to the barbers spending alot of money
Iam about to cop this. I can line myself up every Friday so I can stay crispy. Go to the barbershop when i want a cut
Cutting isn't hard either now the taper is a challenge but not hard

No problem broham
Even though I'm old school I'll definitely use the cut buddy...
Curved neckline for sure, but I prefer the bottom line tapered out ideally.
Oh Definitely. there's something about that curve that looks so elegant, lol. And yea I'd opt for it to be faded out as well.
Straight skill bro. Love the confidence. Keep up the good work
Saw this in Target a week ago. I think I'ma go back and get it.
It would be a lot easier if you had a vanity mirror to hang on the wall and one hanging behind you. It's what I use when I give myself a cut.
Do a video on how to use the straight razor for self cutting
I enjoy tapering the neck. But, even if the customer want a square or a curved line I tend to fade the neck area lighter than the rest of the hair anyways to give the client a long wait time for another haircut.
That's love right there, customer service on 100. lol.
I love the round tape

Thebarberstable I can't put contacts in lol I just can't man I'm stuck with this issue .....just have work at getting faster

It’s the ear part tht I gotta get ready for
Thanks bro this helps me a lot💪🏽

Actually dude, your commentary over the subtle music just saved the subby, especially when you started cutting without that gimmick.
Good job, my dude.
Looking extra professional nephew!! Big ups to ya..Yes it is when you are a wearer of glasses(jst order’s my contacts) lol
Curve my chosen line fasho
The music really fit the video nice line also
What kind of liners is that
They look like the Andis T liners. But if you want something worth the money go babyliss 🔥🔥
I like the square better for me
Round. Looks good!
You got the best tutorial I’ve seen bro thanks
I like my back to be faded up
I like my back rounded to shonuff

Great 👍 work bro I have learn a lot
U did that braa for real though
Ayyyeeee. The line looking fresh
Aye good look bro!
Round back always!
Man it looks good. I brought one today wish me luck. The question is though... How much has it saved you on getting a tape up?
Great video bro. What clippers are you using in the video?
I like the square better I think it depends on the shape of your head
Yea it typically does. I prefer the round shape mostly on everyone though.
I always get the back faded to skin 👌🏽
Great vid bro!
What clippers would you recommend for overall cut and fading and also a line up trimmer. For a beginner doing self cuts
Thanks

Yes I wear glasses. Its tough.
Yea bro, it's annoying especially trying to do the back. and the side burns.
Good work!! What's that joint playing in the background?
So nobody gone answer the damn question about what trimmers he used??
Exactly right the clippers matter
Probably Andis Bro.
I feel like to have a really clean cut you gotta have full fade in the back cant do a line
Where did u get this instrumental?
Good job

Box in the back
Are you using the Slimeline Pro trimmers in the vid?
What liner machine is he using? Please need to know
Looks a Remington I have one that looks similar
Crispy👌💯💯
This is great!!
Appreciate it!
Does it also help you cut around the ears and back of head??????
what is the trimmer you are user?
Yeah if I don't taper the back I usually recommend a round back...
Definitely, the round back is where it's at.
Yo whats the background music man 😳
Oomiee imaginary friends
Yes sir!!
Nice work
Appreciate you!
Bro what trimmer is that
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I wear glasses it's very hard never thought about the pencil will buy one any advise on how to use it better with glasses.
pull up the ends of the glasses above your ears and keep the glass in front of your eyes when you're lining up around the ear.
what trimmer is this bro?
Where are u bro?
What kind of trimmers are you using?
what beard trimmer is that?
Same here
Is there anything else I can use if I don't have the pencil. Bu the way I subscribed. I loke your wrk and videos.
You can always use the trimmer straight. The pencil is great for a sharp look though.
@@KevvThaw its kinda difficult to.use the buddy and cut at the same time
