Provides an outline of the Australian wheat industry, a brief history and general view of growing, harvesting, bulk handling and processing, research and marketing. Shows the industry from the historical beginnings at Experiment Farm and the growing colony of New South Wales, to mechanical innovation, nationwide research and modern transport and handling. Explains the farmer's work through each season and traces the marketing of the grain from the country silo to the consumers overseas.

The grain cultures of Australia🌦 Dear Sir, The Australian grain cultures are in rice, wheat, rye, oat and barley. The presence of the other cereals are also held for clarity. The varieties in the grain cultures are compatible to the terrain in the tropics and sub tropics. The rice varieties are debunked at post harvest and then cooked for consumption whilst the wheat is milled and flour is held at consumption. In a similar approach the other grains and cereals are cleared at post harvest and the grains and cereals are positioned for consumption through trade networks linked to domestic markets and in instances to the export markets in Asia and Europe.
