- New update to Powerwash Simulator brings the Challenge mode, so I wanted to see how well I could do. Did not think to record my timed run - honestly did not expect to get Gold in it straight away anyway - but captured my Water Challenge gold medal run. Hopefully there'll be actual speedrun categories added to the leaderboards at some stage, but for now maybe it will just help someone else get the gold medal. It is really just a case of using the wider nozzles where you can to get a better spread, I think, when the grime is not too tough. I bet some pros will get it under 10L.

What do you do to keep your lines so neat and even? Is it just a lot of practice?

Hi there! Definitely a fair bit of practice, not only in this game but just far too many hours in others. Sometimes adjusting mouse sensitivity can also help so you don't move it a bit too far by accident. Glad to hear that watching this helped, go get that gold!
Just guessing, but maybe using a controller helps too? I don't use mouse+keyboard but I've never had an issue on xbox controller, hence the suggestion.

So im not sure if powerwashsimulator changed something, but im not able to get under 15l of water with your "tutorial". Do you think, you could try it again and check in with me? (Maybe im also a bit stupid and do it wrong, but it always costs me around 22l of water in that challenge:/)
Hi Ella, sorry to hear it may no longer work as demonstrated, there has almost certainly been changes to how it works between then and now - this video was done on Early Access version 0.4 (current of the time of recording), I will update the title accordingly.
If they did change things that would affect usage, but did not change the targets to match, that is a shame.
Currently I have been working my way through the career again using only the basic washer, once done that I may revisit some of the challenges. In the meantime you could check out other speedruns that have been done on full release version 1.0+
