Macy's Parade Balloons: Ronald McDonald (Acrobatic)

1 element in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade that is still is Present Today our Clowns, but there 1 clown that get's to be in the air McDonald's very own Mascot "Ronald McDonald" as a giant balloon.
Today's episode we're going be looking at the 1st of version of Ronald being an Acrobatic Balloon, this episode also honors the 1st Ronald McDonald & the host of the Macy's Parade from 1987 - 1997 "Willard Scott" who passed away on September 4th, 2021 at the age of 87.

First Ed Asner, now Willard Scott.
He was in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from 1987-1997. Because in 1997 was The Year of the Great Balloon Massacre. He was also in The Today Show when they showed the Balloon of the 1st Version of Ronald McDonald. The official mascot of McDonald's (not counting Happy the Happy Meal, the unofficial mascot of McDonald's who was known as "The Creepiest Childhood Characters" along with Ratafak Plachta from Slnecko, The Violin Girl from Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Nobody from Sesame Street. Due to the Happy Meal's design, he was too creepy for children.).
