    A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his CZcams channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

This sounds so weird. Electric guitar is being played with fingers as the rythm guitar and acoustic is in a sort of lead role

    Broz,
This is a very good lesson that a lot of guitar players don’t know. I played in a band with another guitar player and spent a lot of time working on “weaving” as Keith Richards calls it. Two guitars playing together but not over one another. Knowing when not to play is even more important than playing. The Dead is a wonderful example of this, every instrument in that band were having a conversation, not a competition. The worst is playing with another guitar player that plows over you without listening to what you are doing. Keep rydin’

This video was extremely helpful. I have been playing for years but never with other people until recently. I have been doing covers with my kids and since 2 of us play guitar, I had switched over to bass instead to mix up the sound. Doing this technique, I can play the guitar but hunt for other voicings and make the cover more our own style. This has been super fun to do, especially with multiple acoustics going. Thank you so much for posting!

I feel like I have a lot of the knowledge to jam already, just waiting on that ah ha moment for it to all come together. A jam partner would help but I lost mine due to jealousy because he wouldn't put the work in and stopped jamming with me.
Me and my brother miles away the same night both had the same idea that we wanted to play guitar.
The next day while hanging out we wound up talking about it. It was really weird
He actually helped me get my 1st guitar . Then the guy with all the free time in the world taking lessons did nothing with it and was discouraged because my hard work surpassed his lessons. I'm still an amateur , nothing special but that's how I lost my jam partner .
Haven't found a new one yet. K even tried to teach him the things that helped me get better. Like LEARN AND.MASTER CHORDS IT WILL HELP YOUR FINGER GET ATTUNED TO RHYTHM WHICH HELPS WITH LEAD . He just wanted to jam scales and ignore the basics that help make a guitarist

    Hi Sean, big fan
    Question for the next Q&A.
Serving the song is the most important thing for a musician, and in a duo playing chords is the best way to serve the song instead of playing more melodic single note lines and bendy solos. So my question is...When you're in a duo how do you overcome this feeling of being "musically trapped" by only being able to play chords?
    Keep up the good work
