I know what you are saying, I did the same. Science also brought me to Islam. I was studying plants in the Quaran which are medicinal in order to increase the health of Honey Bees. I was in contact with Beekeepers. One suggested I read the Quaran for the message. . I contacted the local Masjid and now I am in contact on line. This is the greatest journey of wisdom I have been on. Before you pray, just ask Allah to guide you on this journey. God bless you on your journey. Alhamdulillah

My best advice that I can give you is taking one step at a time. The best and easiest step is try to obey what is permissible and also try to avoid what is not permissible in Islam in the sense of food that you eat, your attitudes and characteristic towards another human being and your own self, being modest in dressing (Covering awrah and hijab) and so on. May Allah grant you and all the Muslims Jannah. Ameen.
