I’ve flown VA Premium a number of times over the past twenty years between Miami (home) and LHR (old home) and been very happy. The crew are always friendly and professional and the extra legroom is well worth it. An expat and ex airline employee watching in S Florida.
It's all very well checking in advance to find out which aircraft because of the differences in PE, but don't forget that all airlines can and often do change aircraft after you've bought your tickets. And when they do this, they can and often do change the seats you've reserved. There's no guarantee that you'll get what you wanted, even when you've paid extra for it! This has happened to me several times.
I fly Virgin PE 4 to 5 times a year. First, it is not unusual to find PE fares within £300-£500 of economy fares. Second, the second meal on daytime flights isn't breakfast. It is a choice between afternoon tea and a picnic (savory afternoon tea). Around the middle of the flight they will serve frozen fruit ice lollies (popsicles). They also come around with further drinks on a regular basis. The service is always wonderful. On the A350-1000 there is additional storage under your armrest with an additional USB port. Except in bulkhead seats, the tray table is located in the other armrest. Also on the A350 in the entertainment system you have the option of watching your flight through the tail camera and under carriage camera. It is called Tailcam. Great viewing for take off and landing. The phone charging in the middle armrest is only available on the A330s.

we are trying this product from LAX to LHR coming up in July 2024. KLM has a very good PREM ECON product but Virgin seems very good.

Flew PE this week fromJFK to LHR on a A350. Well worth the extra cost. Will never fly Economy with VA again after this fantastic experience.
No foot rests on the A350-100 !!!!!!!! That's why I like flying Premium as an example.. I have short legs...
