Hammond doesn't even blink when that rope snaps, but the fact is that a snapping rope has tremendous power and velocity. It's a truly dangerous thing.

I recently (Nov 2021) did a 1,000 road trip through Colombia and after days of searching I found this very path The Grand Tour took.
Crossing these bridges was FANTASTIC!
Hats off to Richard for doing it in that truck! I did it in a POS rental car.
Though I will say it wasnt quite as high as Jeremy and Richard claimed it was (40'), but none the less, if you fall, as Jeremy said "What bloody difference does it make?"
The one with the rails perpendicular was twice as high but not as long.
The incredible thing is the locals use these old tracks everyday and even a repurposed School bus used for public transportation crosses these bridges twice a day.
The area is very rural and they never see tourists, so please don't ask me where it is exactly as I feel it should remain that way.
That stepladder tho..
