I'm a convert to the church of Yaoshi. Dewdrop goes hard, especially with Luocha or double healers. But you do need some defense boosts as well. Full disclosure I have yet to try/beat D5 but we'll see.

There is a curio that gives u cdamage for your coin even with other path u can get that 1000 cdamage i think it's worth to trade your fragments for that 😂

I think they mean the Cavity curio, where it depletes all your fragments in exchange for crit dmg. so if you hoarded aroud 1k+ fragments...

For clearing diff 5, I collected a few buffs from the small quests, so it took me around 6 hours to clear diff 5
For path of propagation unlock, I use another 3 hours to complete the dialogues.
I really want to clear diff 5 since i wanna try propagation path with imbibitor lunae on world 7
What is exactly the plan for abundance run in dif 5? (Where does the damage come from) i have luocha and seele but no idea if it gonna work for dif 5

The good things about Swarm Disaster as an endgame, as well as, already THREE perma content additions (Aurum, Museum and League) - is that is shows, that Hoyo's Star Rail team able AND willing to keep adding the content into the game AND keep it. Which is fucking awesome as far as I am concerned. Because, while I am stuck at dif 4 of Swarm Disaster, I know, that I will beat it at some point. And it's a goal to reach. As well as - that there will be even MORE goals like that, and even move great content. So thumbs up.
The thing about this is that once you beat it, that’s it, no reason to come back, no weekly stuff. Unless they make it weekly, add more stuff, change some things, etc. it’s going to be like dragonspine or enkanomiya from genshin, once compete with no replayability. No one will play it. Can it be a replayability end game content? Sure it can, but as of now it’s not. Unless hoyoverse update it
@@brentlee6616 I’ve cleared it all and I feel that this mode still has a lot of replayability. Peak gourmet for those wanting to do shenanigans and what not. Meme builds, madness mix paths, crazy challenges are all on the table for this mode. It allows you to do a great deal of things to cure your boredom, also no need to rush or pressure to do it cuz no time limit so it’s all fun and games.
@@junolee3111The more you do, the easier it goes because all the extrq buff we got. So its not the same experience as beating it first time, first day before any extra buff opened.
@@brentlee6616 while everything u said is true, what i think some people arent recognizing is that swarm disaster actually opens up a lot of new possibilities on how they can expand the simulated universe. lorewise its about the fall of aeon and simulating that disaster and implementing that into the gameplay. this opens up the door to creating similar type things w/ different disasters/events in the universe being implemented in the simulated universe as well that could possibly have a completely different gameplay. it makes me optimistic about the future for simulated universe especially b/c they seem intent on pretty frequent updates to it.
Whatever path you chose, you will need that 3 star Destruction card that shares all the damage across the team. If you upgrade that card, it buffs the team with -15% damage reduction.

@@kiritoxyronie2841abundance + destruction. Beat it as an f2p with abundance and destruction. Preservation works as well but destruction and abundance work better. You don’t need luocha as well. I didn’t even have the blessing that shares the heals. It was my first attempt with abundance
Boss 2 are the real chalenge if you get that destruction buff early

I had a good time with nihility if u have kafka, the swarm nihility combo gives ur attacs like from support or healer also kafkas talent that triggers dot dmg but on normal attacs
not to mention if you get the blessing that lets you restore hp per dot, you can also get abundance blessings that will return skill points, give speed, def boost and so on and so forth from healing and next thing you know your computer is glitching cause you keep buffing yourself if you so much as breathe
Tough content that takes a long time to beat is super gratifying and Star Rail did it perfectly. You're not held back from progression if you fail, the regular Sim Universe, Forgotten Hall and Memory of Chaos are still there, so you can take all the time you need to beat Swarm Disaster
That being said, holy hell do I hate fighting those bugs
Same lol, I'm not End Game players, so I don't really gonna play that much in swarms, but I'm just happy that people that seriously want to have a much harder content is actually there.

I love this mode. It gives me a goal and something to look forward to. I am struggling on the last boss of difficulty IV now and it just keeps pushing me to play more and improve both my SU play and my characters. I hope we get tons of these in the future. Difficult content is what keeps me playing this game.
It's not very gratifying because it bullshit kind of hard not challenging hard. The only thing that really makes it hard is the stupid high damage output. The fights are nothing new, and the bug bosses are just annoying.
Yeah, you can eventually beat it, but you aren't happy when you do. It's more relief that you can go do something else.

I lost a perfect run against the final boss in difficulty V, with 1% hp on the final fase, with lvl 70 e0 team, i swear it left me mentally damaged, it's so gard 😢
if you got that close with lv70 characters it must not be that hard for you lol

The new path seems to be made for IL and QQ, as well as the last boss having imaginary and quantum weakness. So even if you are F2P and skipped IL, you (should) be able to do clear just as well with QQ...
Can also be used for Blade, and the upcoming Destruction, Jing Liu since they both enhance basic attacks I believe.
@@julius_patBlade does, she doesn't. Jingliu's thing is super powerful Ult and getting 2 stacks of her special resource, which activates an enhanced state and changes her skill.
I clear diff 5 first try with abundance path (luocha, bronya, blade, dhil all e0s0 only balde is e0s1) the mercy allows u to take the longest route to the final boss so u can collect as much blessings as u can, i take hunt/preservation/propagation buff besides the abundance so i still have damage
Edit: btw when I use this path combo I can still hit 500k -1M per basic attack with dhil (300 - 500k for blade) I think if u don't hit these numbers it would take forever to kill the final boss and since i have no shield i might be wiped out first since they do stack dmg bonus over time

Imma say this: rubert 3 cometh makes me RAGE: with my current team I can clear all 5 stages, but due to lack of buff that Rubert’s quest makes you (due to having to go in a straight line.) it’s practically impossible, and if you get abundance, it just makes it worst, giving you a glimmer of hope when you get past the 2nd planar boss, only for it to get crushed when u get over or under 0 turns.
Ps. Have you used the laurel crown of planar shifts?
What i liked about all the simulated universe content was how in its way introduced to gameplay mechanics for combat like DoT , follow up /counter atk, speed and turn manipulation and even niche ones like pure freeze (I have a feeling in the future there will be characters that could make an actual viable freeze team not just in simulated but also in any other content
I'm not FTP, but I beat difficulty 5. I was living carelessly and bypassed any fights I could skip and skipped map nodes to speed to the Swarm boss at the end. My support is built well with HP & DEF. I selected Abundance for the HP boost so every1 was 4500k+ hp which avoided these 1 shots shown. I had limited blessings so I would think someone who was FTP or a light spender who maxed out their blessings throughout the run using abundance with solid support could take down this challenge. GL!
For nihility path peeps, I used Kafka, sampo, Bailu and main character for sustain, (probably better to use March actually but it’s what I had)
They get Tanky because of the Red Count Down accumulating, I think Abundance main Path so far makes the Countdown from Red to Blue to negate the Buffs from accumulating for the enemies, but you had to route well as much as you want to explore & obtain new stuffs about Simulated Universe' Propagation Investigation Game Mode. I'm not so sure what the other Path does to prevent the Red Countdown from accumulating
Remembrance path can skip many domain which mean can save u much countdown
They are tank by thenselves, I cleared the V lvl with 3 positive points doing 1 M damage and removing only 20~% Hp.
I JUST finished Difficulty 4 - JUST barely with the Abundance path. The only way I got through it was by doing all of those mini-challenges to upgrade that skill map. I still don't have the Propagation path (RIP), but I'm gonna try and complete that skill map to unlock it ASAP!

I'm suggest using bailu over loucha cause she has damage reduction
Destruction is the best path especially if you get lucky and get some 3 stars of the hunt along with it. The enemies got 3 moves before i won. The Hunt Path is also very good with 1k crit damage being possible. Not as strong as destruction but it's still very viable. With the destruction path, make sure you start with the error code that reduces damage taken while under 50% or you may have a hard time and get oneshot. If you didn't get it, clear the current room and enter the next and exist out and restart.
People tend to forget that this is another addition to endgame 🗿🗿
Ofc you can't beat diff V in day 1 . Build the permanent buffs by playing diff 1 or 2 and max the skillet tree.
First try pass here with low level tree and only three chapters unlocked, i use e0s0 nlade dhil bronya luocha and abundance path
You don't need the skillet tree at all, like actually I already complete everything at 100% and no, before you asking I'm not a whale, I know how to play.

You could start with Difficulty 1 & 2 because even after the tutorial you must finish it again to obtain the 1st time clear rewards.
Im not sure but i think you still get those rewards if you clear difficulty 3. Because in normal su you get all of the rewards from the lower difficulties when you clear one of the higher difficulties for the first time.

I cleared level 4 with non fully built blade clara bailu gepard using abundance path. Tanky and sustain is more effective strat than brute forcing with dps. If you lucky enough to get 4 max blessings of abundance it'll be easy
im f2p and i cleared stage 5 with the Abundance path and used gepard, dan hengIL, clara, and natasha. i took advantage of Mercy to go thru as many rewards and elites as possible to get the blessings that i wanted. The main MVPs are the gold destruction card that shares damage, the gold hunt weakness break + enhanced so that all allies are moved forward after dan heng weakness breaks the small swarms, and the blue hunt card that regenerates tons of energy after defeating an enemy so that my dan heng could go again with his burst XD the abundance dewdrops are an added bonus to my damage so it took me around 2 hrs to finish the whole thing.

Lol I use DHIL, tingyun, bailu and natasha with the abundance path. I also grabbed 3 or more nihility and propagation blessings each to unlock the abundance/nihility and abundance/propagation combos as well.
Got about 20 and above abundance blessings especially blessings that has "dewdrop".
Difficulty 4, ez clear
I even did above 1mill damage
Because of this op path for this game mode, all other paths are irrelevant imo
I just cleared diff 5 3 times with 3 paths (Preserv, Nihility, and Destruction). It took me 4 hours tho, but it so dam fun. Good luck to you guys!!

The whole thing feels artificial and scripted. It feels like my decisions don't really matter. Just collect buffs and power ups and eventually beat it. It's designed to make you feel weak at the start and then progression as you advance everything, but its an artificial progression.
difficulty 4 is crazy right now, the final boss' "kill me in 2 rounds or you die" move is so stupid, considering the thing has like 10 million HP. It's definitely going to take some grinding to get enough damage, or possibly enough survivability to get past it.

It is harder than I expected, but at the same time it is really fun, with propagation blessings Qingque and Dan Heng IL are broken man
Tenha if you swap Asta with Lunae your tingyun will always use her buff and ultimate on him I tried that and it worked idk why but Tingyun will always buff the one on the second especially if you have 2 DPS
this was the best mode they added so far to the game honestly i applaud them and this is just the start!
I haven't cleared the Torturous Difficulty yet, but so far I've had most success with Blade, Luocha, Welt, and Natasha with either the Path of Abundance or the Path of Destruction.
Bro in one run i got a random event that drained all of my ultimates energy and techniques points instantly. I was punching the air so hard when i lost to the boss thanks to that lol

I underestimated this game mode, and it bit me in the ass, I thought I was unstoppable in SU. I reset the game countless of times just to beat the boss without going back to plane 1
i already figured it's be hars after the first loss, for me imma stay away from this game mode Lol....
I finished the swarm event and unlocked propagation path , abundance path with Blade/Bronya/Asta/Luocha , is the easiest way to do it

Kinda tired of hearing people say HSR has endgame so it’s now better than Genshin. I play both and obv ppl prefer diff things but I prefer genshin. The reason why HSR had to come out with SU swarm is because. Y’all realize there’s nothing else to do in HSR right now? Whereas genshins selling point is the open world.
As a F2P, i love the endgame. It actually feels enjoyable in HSR, meanwhile in Genshin the last time I touched Spiral Abyss I distinctly remember feeling miserable xD
I can’t even get past difficulty 2 and im level 80 equilibrium 6. These bosses are supposed to be level 60 something and I have no idea how I’m getting one shot every single time I get to the end w both cocolia n the stupid deer 😭😭😭😭
We need more swarm disaster content and showcases because as an f2p, this shit is just unbeatable, and I need some instruction from someone as strong in the game as you, I'm still struggling in difficulety 3 from this even release until now💀 and yes, I tried all the paths there and couldn't even beat the 2nd boss in difficulety 3
Lv 40 Herta with remembrace path murdered that bug on Diff 4 so satisfyingly, i wish it was Diff 5 instead, had godlike blessings of all kind
Remembrance path is good
Use only ice character with only high HP and effect hit rate like gepard, herta, pela, march 7th
You don't need crit rate or atk or crit DMG
Only hp, effect hit rate and def
Also level up every character

A tip is that you really want an AOE character cause if you stick to a ST like Seele if you can't kill the swarm fast enough they will infinitely duplicate & stack their damage buff where if the fight goes long they will eventually one shot your characters.
I actually took advantage of that though. With enough damage you can pick them off one by one, make them boom and cause them to kill themselves slowly. I even welcome more of those tiny critters. Then again, it's probably dependent on your buffs and stats since I can one shot them at stage 4. Haven't tried stage 5 yet.
If you have QQ. Use her. She can maximize the full power of propagation better than Daniel dragon

That wind shear does so much damage and it applies to all of your team. You either need aoe cleanse or subdue evil from abundance path.
full xuan and lynx will handle that.
You could also get the preservation buff that cleanses when you get a shield and use fire trailblazer to potentially cleanse your whole team every time they take a turn.
Remembrance with Geppy, March 7th, and Pela is the way to go. I use Yanqing as my 4th, but I've seen another Healer/shielder recommended.
I haven't tried this mode since the lvl 65 boss brutally beat my ass even though I had a fully leveled up team and almost maxed out traces💀
Just cleared difficulty 5 with abundance today its really hard hush I had to use gepard and natasha both to survive
blade + loucha + SW + bronya and abudance path, it will easy way to clear this simulated universe
something needs to get reset every week like normal SU, if there none what the point making it permanent contents, just like usual event
I just win the difficult 5 with blade bronya and 2 healer bailu and natasha with abundance path. You really need luck to get the correct blessing most of the damage is from the dewdrop (need to enhance the 3 star abundance blessing so you can get maximum damage dewdrop) and mostly getting all abundance and destruction blessing
gepard, clara, blade, bailu on path of destruction with preservation buffs (for quake) and elation buffs (for follow ups) is rlly good.
This carried me thru D4 and D5 :) I was doing 1.3m quake reflects and 1m clara follow ups. Defo worth trying out if u have these characters (cud even switch out bailu for natasha)
Technically, the best path SHOULD be Abundance. The only problem is, without a damage soaker like Fire MC or the shared damage Destruction blessing, you're going to take a LOT of damage. I'm sayin' almost enough to one shot your character damage. This is probably the only time where the hunt path is the wordt path you can take because them bitches are FAST FAST
best paths are actually destruction and preservation in this one, you need the paths survivability to deal with the enemies one shot potential, abundance is great as a dip to get a few nice to have blessings but a full run on it would require some destruction/preservation as a heavy investment on the side, when i did it on diff 5 i had 18 abundance 8 destruction and 9 preservation blessings total
I’m running 2 sustains, Gepy and Loacha. They keep the team alive.
i cleared diff 5 with lvl.8 community trails with destruction path and some abundance blessings specially the blast heal and then some hunt blessings like regenerate massive energy on defeat.
Team : Dan IL with Sign LC + SW + Bronya with Sign LC + Luocha

No wonder all Aeons gang up on Aeons of Propagation, the bug of its creation is insanely hard and annoying but fun.
Needing or wanting to auto battle matches to me is just bad game design, although I do put some more leeway in that this is a game that requires you to grind for materials and Equipment but your main quest line combat,first fight boss battles and the weekly ones should all at least not make you want to auto and are complex enough that you couldnt rely on it. This goes for end game content like simulated universe and halls of ascension also less. It shows up or I think about auto battle is all the better for the game long term because being able to successfully auto play content that is supposed to be challenging is a red flag to the games life span overall
those bugs take forever to kill and that 3rd phase is so much pain they kept 1 shotting my dps and luocha 💀

For my account,all I needed was damage unlike most people who struggled with surviving.
Cleared diff 5 last night at lvl 78 with on Abundance Path with SW (C relic scorer), Luocha (C), Blade (A) and FMC (B)
Bring double destruction character that are tanky. My lineup is Clara, blade, luocha and some random character like kafka. This lineup is perfect for elation + destruction bcz they all have follow up attacks except for luocha. Also clara and luocha combo is just nuts.
My team: Seele, MC fire, Danheng, Natasha
Path: Destruction(main) x Hunt x Preservation
Tanky , Infinite turn , Ez dmg
lol tenha learnt that reading is a good skill to have xD this mode is so tough yet so damn satisfyingly fun to play/beat

I think you should use Destruction + Protection. Both have high health, thick armor and counterattack

Gamers of the 80s and 90s relish a very hard content. Nowadays gamers quit way too easily. IMO a good gauge of grit of each generation.
I managed to do LV 4 but for mental safety reasons ill wait to do 5 till i unlock all boosts😅
man my kafka is doing 500k per rotation but these things wont die🥲, on top of that those things hit hard and nihlity was keeping alive but those bugs did it ult and wiped out the team.....still stuck on diffcult 3 😭

F2P Geppie/Luocha/Clara/Kafka Destruction Path. was able to first try 3/4/5
I suggest to get as much as fragment possible , and if you lucky get that one "Tooth Curio" which can be exchanged each 100 fragment became increased your Crit Damage by 24% , i almost successfully win in the lvl 5 , each of my seele skill damage almost 300k , 😅😂
