As usual Jaitley keeps referring to the UPA. What has he done on GST? Made a mockery of it.
1. The UPA is a real thing it is not something made out of thin air, so stating it isn't something to ridicule him on and he can use it to show how the Congress evaded the same issue yet he is addressing it which just shows how honest the BJP is really getting.
2. "He" is an individual, "He" is not a magician who can make any wish come true with the flick of his wand, like "He" said even if the center which his basically him and the council decide on the GST Petrol inclusion, the states are in non agreement so instead of babbling here arguing what Jaitley Ji has done or not done, go find which state is in non compliance to the center and why.
Also what have YOU done ?
Chidambaram as a finance minister should know that UPA Government took so much financial debts from International financial institutions and filled their own pockets.
While current NDA government is trying to bring FDI foreign companies to generate more jobs and have less financial debts. And last question....

Modi was not against GST in its toto. Modi, Jayalitha and few other CMs of other states opposed GST in its original form prior to 2014. Later GST was implemented after several rounds of talks with state governments and obtaining their consent, and several amendments were brought in the GST in its current form
