- Cutting cast iron 3inch sewer. This is a cake walk with the corded dewalt sawzall and the blade shown in the video. I recommend both and once it's cut out, drag it out and throw it in the dump. 3 in cast iron needs a special blade to make it tolerable. Here are the tools to look through! Good Luck!! You can do it!
Dewalt corded sawzall! amzn.to/3qtmX55
Dewalt 20v brushless sawzall great tool. Just use the 5ah battery and use the diablo or lenox blade. amzn.to/3Ovg9vE
Here is the dewalt 5ah battery you will need, if you use the cordless dewalt option. amzn.to/3YBXz9F
The Lenox Blade used in this video. amzn.to/3s5ePrI
The diablo blade! Recomended by another subscriber as the better blade... I will leave it up to you. amzn.to/3DWmknD

Thanks for the tip on the blade. Put one in my Ryobi and it made all the difference.
No problem! Thanks for reaching out to me!
Man!!! ran into the same problem was almost at the point of breaking the pipes until I saw this video~! thanks a bunch! cut all the pipes in like 20 mins. . Was dealing with 3'' pipes! and by the way the knife throwing was classic!! lol def got a thumbs up for that! haaaa!
Thank you for reaching out! I’m very glad I could help you and I love throwing knives. All mine broke now I wore them out. I hit a few nails and such. I’ll be getting new ones soon though because I’m getting anxious 😂
If you use some 2 cycle engine oil it will keep from burning up your blade and get more uses out of it
Awesome tip, I appreciate you checking in!!
I did this with a hand hacksaw.
Once.
You spent you quite some time haha! I have done it also and I don’t wanna do it again LOL! Thanks for reaching out!
I believe the truth is that there is still a market for corded tools. They are sturdier, batteries do not overheat (because there aren't any) , motors are built to work even under hot condition, battery operated tools the battery has a thermal protection the tool has thermal protection. All of this protection slows everything down.
I agree with you that the corded tools are better in lots of ways but I like the convenience with cordless I guess. Dewalt brand is good enough on Both though I would vote. Thanks for tip!
Thank you
No problem!!! Thanks for checking in!
Nice job big fella. I was thinking as you start making your cut your first cut should have been on the bottom for relief cut cuz your blade is going to get pinched like the way it did or support the pipe somehow so it doesn't happen.
Yeah! I forgot to put a pivot point by placing wood or something underneath but I got it after I realized it lol thanks!
diablo blades, the best blades
Not just any Diablo blade, you want a Steel Demon AMPED Carbide.

Thanks for the tip!
@@Knockout_Ned Sounds like a good one! I’ll give er a try out!
pretty good vid, for the most part. Got the idea across, SawZ always unpredictable, usually at least partly horrible.
You would do well to set good example, wear safety glasses.
Down low, posture, eyes lower than cut, a number of factors.
Plus, different metals, different blades produce different chip.
some with static attraction to gloves, etc. emergency rooms SUCK! Mostly, though, it’s the example you set. good luck to you, keep making videos, throw the blade.
Safety first!!
Grinder and a cutoff wheel
Thanks for the advice! I believe someone else mentioned that also. There is lots of ways to do it.
