These type of marriages are either spiritual rebirth or death . But never are they equal .
Anne thought she knew what it was like to be loved by a king. Then he turned around and betrayed her. Anne thought it was a marriage of love. It wasn't. She also found out what it was like to be hated by a king. I think he used her. For what? She presented him with the ideal that the church was not higher than a king. She told him that a king is god's choice to be anointed. She told him he had the power not the churches and a pope. So in that he broke with the church. She was a powerful and extremely intelligent. He was not as intelligent as her. She was also very politically correct. She had a lot of influence over him. After he executed her he laid all the blame for everything on her. She should have married Henry Percy but that wouldn't have produced Elizabeth. I think there is something else why the charges were brought against her and his closes friends. It will come out some day. In the meantime she was vindicated and her daughter Elizabeth became a great Queen. She had her revenge.
I really feel for Anne. She clearly rejected Henry. But he kept on pursuing her.
No one really could say “no” to the king anyway
She didn't learn from what he did to a wife he married for 25 years, Catherine of Aragon. At least Catherine didn't lose her head lol.
@@munash2 But Catherine didn't get to see her daughter even once. She was sent to a nunnery to top it all. And she was in a very bad condition and got sick and died only a bit after the divorce.
All these women were just victims of Henry. He didn't deserve any of them. He loved no one but himself
@@sarahemilywhite Yeah, Ann didn't learn from what was right in front of her eyes. She was involved in what happened to COA, but she didn't seem to care so you'll lose him how you got him! and it was worse for her!

Up until 50 years ago, women had no rights in the society and they were just barging chips for gaining more wealth and power by getting married off. Let alone 500 years ago.
