His first time on SNL is what got him noticed for his acting abilities one of the best episodes ever
that is what got me to love him.. I knew who he was from wrestling, but totally fell in love with his sense of humor and charisma when he hosted the first time way back in the early 90s - big fan of his!!!
Hosted way back in the early 90s? LOL! He didn't even start his wrestling career until 1996. In the early 90s he was playing college football in Miami. His first time hosting SNL was in March of 2000.

4 years later and I'm still trying to figure out why we haven't seen those two on a election ballot.
I remember watching this on TV and literally predicting that Dwayne Johnson would pick Tom Hanks as his running mate. Though at the time I was under the assumption that Hanks had hosted more than anyone, which is of course super ironic (and even then I think I was thinking of Steve Martin, not Alec Baldwin).
