I splurged and bought the off white loafers and I was SHOCKED at how comfortable they were from the get-go. No break necessary. However, I sized up a half size to 36.5. The only thing is the white shows every mark and because the leather is so soft, I already have pretty bad scuffs that cut into the leather. I am taking these to the local cobbler for a clean up and I am sure they can be repaired. I absolutely love mine. Going to purchase the black ones next!
You can get rubber soles put on after wearing them with the leather. Some cobblers suggest wearing them first to wear down the leather sole a bit in fact. That’s what I will end up doing with my pair of Jordaan loafers.

I think it's funny how EVERYONE complains about how fast these wear and GUCCI does NOTHING about it...they know you guys are going to keep buying them, GUCCI knows status is #1 these days

WAIT. You sized down? And you have wide feet? But aren't the Brixton shoes narrow in design? So it would make more sense to size up instead. HELP 😰 I'm confused.

That leather sole alone is why the shoes are that expensive! Their quality and the craftmanship and tradition that goes into soles like that, along with the old metal studs and stamping on the soles, are proof they are hand made to the highest possible standard. If you mess with the sole Gucci will not guarantee the shoes. Understandably so. All luxury shoe brands with respect for themselves make leather soles like that which again is reflected in the price. Never ever ruin the shoe with a rubber sole. It changes the build/balance of the shoes and can effect the way the top leather wear. Should they wear out it’s absolutely possible to repair them with new leather on part of the sole or the whole sole. Respect the craftmanship and the investment. I have had Gucci loafers and mules for years and years and they only get better. I take good care of them like they deserve😊.

Hi Lena, glad I came across your video. I just recieved my Brixton loafers yesterday, ordered it online. I'm a bit disappointed as to what the insoles look like. Does it normally go halfway only? The seams/stitching inside the shoe are showing. Would appreciate you input. Thanks!

I prefer the Brixton loafers because of the collapsible heels. I didn’t get any blisters due to the softer leather.

Chanel espadrilles vs Gucci loafer , which would u choose? ?
My friend owns the Chanel espadrilles and she says it’s not super comfortable. I have wide feet and I feel that other espadrilles I’ve worn tend to stretch after wearing for some time. So I prefer these loafers! 😊

Hi Elias, I still haven’t folded the back of my heels yet. Maybe next year when the weather gets warmer I’ll start doing that.
