Reekdap, a woolly chicken
i name my chickens after baking flavors and close to their colors, like Vanilla(white), cocoa(brown), almond(brown), cinnamon(brown), coconut(white), lemon(gold), butterscotch(gold), citric(void), chip(void), tarter(void), mint(blue), and orange (blue) :),
All very cute names. I'd love to have a little garlic(white chicken chicken), coffee(brown milk chicken), or spicy(green chicken).
Chimken 👍🏻
Wow, an impressive and well thought out name. Good job!
I enjoy the simplicity of "Nugget" for a chicken chicken, because it feels like a name while also conveying a tastiness thats hard to find with other names
Sometimes, simple is best. I personally think "Nugget" hits really well because of its cute sound, and how it foreshadows the future of chicken chickens. Well done. I feel like nuggets now...
Zamboingi, a bouncy chicken.
How am I doing?
Sounds like the beginnings of a happy bouncy chicken.
Kentucky Fry, Fajita, Parmesan, and Tenders. Take it or leave it.
Nuggets, Teriyaki, Rotisserie
I'll take it, I think it's a fact that chickens feel better if they're given tasty names.
I just named mine all Chicken
I fear for your sanity when you try to locate a specific one.
I found him, he was next to the rest of them.
this is exactly my niche
Glad you enjoyed it.
You're so supportive in the comments :D I took the approach of naming all my chicken with random food names, such as, hot sauce, tofu, sandia (Spanish for watermelon), salt, lettuce, Peanut butt, etc
I just want my students to succeed. Also, utilizing different languages is another great strategy I didn't get to touch on. Very nice job.
This feels like it should be an April’s fools video but it’s uploaded at the wrong time
If you have a sense of humor, then everyday can be April's fools.
I named my chicken bear, after a bear
Now that you mention it, "bear" might be a better name for a chicken than a bear.
Megamateetee, a milk chicken
Very nice, sounds like just the kind of milk chicken I'd like on my farm.
I don't have that many animals on my save, but my chickens are named Omelette, Deviled, Scramble, and Benedict. I also have a duck named Demon, a dinosaur named Barney, and finally a pig named Your mom. I leaned hard into one naming convention, though I don't remember why I named the duck Demon.
Sounds like you have an impressive amount of variety on your farm. Well done!
This video is a bible
Praise be to the chickens and their namers.
Solid video. The sick beat segment earned you a sub.
Thanks a lot!
The guy who came up with the default names for chickens in Stardew Valley made this video
Haha, I do agree that the default names are already really incredible, but I can't take the credit for the developer's hard work there.
The only answer for me is Transformers. My chickens are always Meg(atron), (Bumble)Bee and Star(scream). Idk why.
A great choice, and well done finding out that parentheses work in names. It took me ages to realize it.
this video was chill and funny
thanks for making my day! =D
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I called a big lizard chicken "dino" and a black chicken "nugget". They are best friends : D
Their powerful bond is surely thanks to your expert naming strategy.
Dropping everything I was doing to contribute to this important conversation. As a ttrpg GM, naming things is a passion of mine.
My current farm has chickens named after NPC's in my Vampire: the Masquerade chronicle. There are character implications for every naming choice, of course. That's important context, as some of the names seem ineffective without it. The brown chicken chickens are Chloe and Paul, the brown milk chicken is Jolie, the white milk chicken is Parish, the horn chicken is Vee, the black chicken is Thorn, the bouncy chicken is Vidia, the pink chicken is Timeus (with Agrippa on the way), the wooly chicken is Jing, the green-headed chickens are Cristo and Alexei, and the scaly chickens are Bryce and Amadi. If you wish to know the character implications, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Now, for other farms, I take a less story-oriented approach. Some sample names for chicken chickens include Ferndelby, Choonie, and Vimbernatch. For horn chickens, Razble, Minpolis, and Wimberleen. For black chickens, Darbinsh, Gosnarly, and Tandazzo. And so on.
Again, thank you so much for covering this topic. It gives me hope for this world to see someone who truly appreciates and commits themselves to the art of naming.
Your naming skills are very impressive. I'm sure you could teach people a thing or two about naming chickens as well. Spread the knowledge my fellow namer.
This is so informative. My next run is gonna be so different.
Always happy to help.
I'm confident in my naming skills. haven't done much in social media, but I've tried giving Vloger's fish Gulchen in some kind of post for requesting names. I think that's similar to this while being fun about the name with it's about being like mulch while incidentally having an undertone of using the name of Gretchen as essence to it.
Gulchen sounds like a very creative name. I can see that you put a lot of thought into its, meaning, feeling, and sound. Your confidence is rightly placed.
I need Shimmedopop Kemdidododo full song! 💃🕺
It would be pretty incredible.
For now though you can find some similar music from the link in the video description.
I name my chickens [###][###][##] based on what I need in the first year 😂
Afterwards I change their name to a disease. Like chlamydia or measley
Clever to change their names midway.
Teaching Hat, safe? 🤨
I see through you Mr. Angler Fish, tryna lure us school fish into your toothy maw!
Of course I wouldn't do that...
Sure it may attract students towards me, but that's only so they don't run off during a blackout and hurt themselves.
I want to name my chickens after other kinds of birds, like Goose and Turkey.
A good choice. That will also have the added benefit of confusing all the other villagers.
In every new save file i always name my first milk chicken "Vodka" and my first chicken chicken "Vov" (Vov is a liquor made with eggs) XD
Oh wow, never heard of Vov. I think that's my new favorite liquor name now, overtook the mexican liquor "Pulque".
@@LarryfromtheBasement Oh never heard Pulque, that has potential for a great name for the animals in my farm. I think I will use it ahahah
@@Not_Zelda Glad to help
Hohohol the pink chiken
Pink chickens are my favorite kind of big chicken.
I got bored thinking of names so I’d just call any new animals something relating to whatever was on Spotify.
I have a chicken called foo since I was listening to foo fighters and a cow called flume
Taking inspiration from an outside source is always valid naming strategy. I love the originality.
Steve
Stellar 🌟
Thanks man
no problem
they're all named either bepa, bepe, or bepo
I like it, but I'd be afraid how many chickens would come running if I called "bepa."
Ruffles
A beautiful name.
I always name the first one nugget, and the others are tender, and Parmesan:) and I always name a pig Keven Bacon
Kevin Bacon, very nice. I expect nothing less from a mushroom conesiour ;)
Wonder what you name your golden chicken and ostrid? Well, I don't know if this will blow your mind or not, but did you know that you can always rename your coop and barn animals? Can't do that to your pets, but you can do that to your live stock. That's another way to spawn items if you know what you're doing. Then, you can rename them for plausible deniability. 😁
This is extremely useful information. It can help prevent others from falling into the spiral of weak naming. I've been there, it's not pleasant.
I hadn't heard of golden chickens before. Just shows that there's always more to learn.
Oh really? So renaming your livestock isn't very well known? Well, if you reach perfection, you can get a golden egg it can hatch into a golden chicken in 6 days or 3 with the coopmaster profession. Reach perfection, then buy it from Marnie for 100,000 gold or buy it from Mr Qi for 100 Qi Gems, or you can find it randomly in the fishing treasure chest with a very rare chance, or a random and rare event where the gold witch will fly over your big coop/deluxe coop and leave a golden egg behind. I suppose there's one other way. The golden egg's ID is 928, but do you really want to miss your chance to see the gold witch event?
@@OtakuDeju It isn't known to me at least. Though, I'm just an rts expert, the only thing I claim to know about Stardew is chicken naming. So for anyone who may not know I think it's good information to have.
Maybe one day I'll be good enough to get that golden chicken. It sounds really pretty.
What about Madabolpa, for a classic chicken chicken?
Amazing, 10/10 chicken chicken name.
Calimat
A+ student I'm sure!
A++, you've learned well.
Sploosh the milk chicken
I love this name
The song at the end is fire can u tell me what its name
The song is called "I Won't Keep Waiting."
There's a link for the artist's work in the description for this video. Check him out.
I have cute, lovely, darling, honey
Four beautifully crafted names.
