Damnn, I wanted to do those blue wheels too. That bike looks lovely! You really have the exact setup i would want to build if I had enough money. With those golden USD forks too. Amazing job!
Thanks man. I’ll do a walk around on the bike at the end of the season. The suspension transforms the sv from ho hum to a proper handling stopping bike
Hey man, I love your “burra”, where did you get that fairing keel? I want one for mine Also that exhaust… damn it looks and sounds good I love it I’ve got the original one and I will replace it soon Nice video!
Hi there. That came with the bike. Its a fake carbon fiber chin spoiler. The exhaust..good but expensive. Try black widow exhausts. They make a full system for the SV, likely 50% or less of M4
@@QuarterD25 all the parts are oem. I did end up using hose clamps for final mounting due the fork size. Have a look here flic.kr/p/2k3otpe I was hoping to use the stock bracket but in the end cut off the loops and used plumbing clamps
Looks great, just ordered the black widow headers for my 2017 SV650. Did you have any issues with removing the original headers, particularly the manifold bolts??
I have a question tho about those exhausts. How important is that linkpipe? Ive also seen full sv650 systems without a link pipe. Like lextek exhausts. Im about to weld my own exhaust and im not sure if I need to weld a link pipe too.
Wonderful job, the brake calipers, the forks, the exhaust system, the rims... Really nice SV you got there buddy ! Wish you the best
Thanks! it's gone on to another owner
Slick SV mate, looks mint and sounds great!
They go pretty well too, I got one as well 👌🏽
@@alNange great bikes. For the money and a few mods..had two

Sweet ride.
Thanks buddy!
It’s turned out well. I may need to raid the couch for change as a dyno session would do wonders.
@@otmuppet can you tell me what bracket you used to mount the headlights to the forks?

@@otmuppet got and thanks. How did the exhaust end up working for you? Was there much of a difference?
@@QuarterD25 yep. Bike revs out to red line with zero effort.
And it looks pretty amazing

Not that I can remember. I think the rear slip on portion stays on if memory serves.
Trick to getting the header bolts out without breaking them?😊
Wd-40 well ahead of time.
Heat around the bolt/not on bolt helps. Take your time, don't use an impact

Not sure Luke. But if M4 put it in it’s prob needed.
Same idea on a triple or four in line. Any performance exhaust needs it. Good luck
