great tutorial! Is it possible to have a sample play completely from one bank and switch to a different bank without the first sample cutting off when you trigger the new sample from a different bank, been searching for this answer for over a year now?
Came looking for this, crazy to think that something so logical would be left out =( @Serato can we also get a feature to apply effects to the sampler slots?
Im using a Denon MC 7000 controller with serato dj pro, this just won't work, it shows volume in the indicator in serato but sound wont come out. Please if you know a fix to this reach out!!
Is it possible to have Bank A play on the left side of the controller and Bank B play on the right side of the controller (so I could have 16 samples ready). It only lets me have one bank selected at once which means both sides of the controller play the same thing.
Hey, you can only select one output channel at a time for the Sampler, sorry! The output selection is universal for all banks, so if you want to change it, you'll need to do that manually at the same time as you swap banks. Feel free to make a post in the feature suggestion area of our forums here if you'd like to see the option to set an output per bank: serato.com/forum/area/2
You may need to enable it under the "Expansion Packs" tab in your Serato DJ settings. If you're still having trouble, please contact us via support@serato.com
After 10 years the sampler for serato dj continues the same as serato scratch live, same same same, nothing changed, no one uses it is difficult to use, is more easy Work with 4 decks....the sync for the sampler dont Work good....when something new? like a sequencer( maschine native instruments or ableton or fruit loops)?....

What happen if your sampler is just not there in your program ?

I could not get the tune sample to sync with the tune on the channel. Seems more like little noise clips is about all it can do.
So this is how Dj Premier adds vocal samples to songs
