In Radiohead's video for ‘House of Cards’, no cameras or lights were used. Instead, 3D plotting technologies collected information about the shapes and relative distances of objects. The video was created entirely with visualizations of that data.

Exactly.

Yep, absolutely but also the great thing about Radiohead, is when you feel neutral about things. Life isn’t fantastic but it’s not shit either, you can really appreciate how beautiful some of the songs are.

Well... I'm sure 100% it would be an out-of-body experience, which is exactly why you shouldn't do it while driving😬
I can't believe that people claim that this is the weakest song of In Rainbows. Whenever I feel down, The holy duality of Nude and House of Cards is there to pick me up.
What would be the worst one for u?
@@walther2273 I'd have to go with 15 Step. The disk 2 offers insane songs, but it's almost a crime to skip those and add something like 15 Step. Don't get me wrong, it's good, it just sounds like and belongs to HTTT. It certainly doesn't earn the position of being the opening song of an album like In Rainbows. but hey, its just me.
@@walther2273 what about you?
@@yunusemre-rm6xr i find bodysntacher 15step and house of cards to be the low points on this album. The first 2 are abit noisy for me and House of cards is chill but kinda repetitive and i can't understand how some people would call it breathtaking. A breathtaking song would be wierdfishes(my all time favorit song 🥰), paranoid android, jigsaw falling, karma police or even the song "the national anthem" that i don't particularly love.
@@walther2273 house of cards has also a personal meaning to me, so I really care about the song. You should lsiten to the instrumental, its not as groundbreaking or dynamic as wfishes or nude, but I find to be pretty orgasmic.

Radiohead makes me remember things that never happened
so fucking true. Makes me think of what could of happened.
I thought I was the only one who thought that 😂
They make me forget things that did.
Places you have never been
like remembering being 23 from a small town in the Bay Area (*pre Silicon Valley) & getting stranded in Nebraska, sitting in a strange unknown apartment complexes swing set listening to creep over and over...Thom York is a cosmonaut trip tour guide, if your ever inclined to consume psilocybin, listening to Radiohead's whole music catalog, I highly suggest it, what you'll experience is a trip into the universe and beyond like no other... baby steps people baby steps small doses only💞
I can't believe I'm writing out one of those "my dead friend likes this music" comments.. But here I am.. I found what I feel like is a higher taste in music through my friend Zach. He was older, cooler, smarter, a goddamn rocket scientist studying at MIT. I really looked up to him and got to exploring his vast music library and this band Radiohead, the more than just "creep" Radiohead, helped he, I and our little click of friends bond even stronger. Zach went missing mountain hiking in '06, Obviously I miss him, but what really makes me sad is he will never be able to hear all the great music that came after. The last Radiohead album he ever heard was Hail to the Thief! He will NEVER hear In Rainbows, it's my favorite album and it makes me so fucking sad.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss , ❤ been grieving for a while myself. I understand you.
Don't worry, your friend Zach has connected with the Akashik records 🙏🏻 There he has heard every song Radiohead has made since he passed❤🎵
Better than that , in the Akashik records , he will have the knowledge of Everything that Has & All that is to come.
He has heard every song Radiohead & any band member still have to make! 🙂
That's the way I like to think of passing. I had a NDE & sure I visited the Akashik records when I was out. I didn't return with the knowledge of the Universe , but it gave me an awakening.
Surrounded by bright light & golden beings full of love ❤😘 I felt them , we spoke without talking. RIP Zach.🙏🏻

Nobody from my home planet of Omricon Cephalopodii 17-B understands why I use my sonar receptive lobes to receive sound waves from your primitive rocky planet, full of silica, iron and numerous carbon-based life forms. Almost everyone here prefers that new top-40 over-produced tripe known as "60hz, repeating" (also known colloquially at 'tone 2'). In Radiohead's new video for "House of Cards", no cameras or lights were

In my personal opinion, the most talented and influential group of musicians since Led Zeppelin. These guys are such close buddies as well, just like The Beatles and Zeppelin were, that is what breeds good music; when the players can feel the grove together.
Beatles were not really close buddies actually, they had problems from the start ,mostly with Mc'Cartney and Lennon .
They were close in the sense that they started from nothing made something from each others hard work and talent day by day for over a decade. Friends aren't always "buddies", sometimes they push each other and get competitive, and even the best of friends drift apart. Radiohead is even more impressive in that sense because they were a grunge oxford band for several years before getting a record contract. Musically speaking, The Beatles had a connection unlike any other, whether they liked it or not.
Radiohead suck
Terry Gilliam
I respect your opinion.
+Shratik Mishra They played thousands of shows together *before* they got famous. That's saying something.
Song is beyond excellent. Band is beyond excellent. Boom.
3:30 I've never seen such a bizarre effect, it looks like this video was made from modern AI. Radiohead is so damn ahead of it's time in every aspect.
ive been thinking about how beautiful this song is for days
I'm not born yet, but I'm huge Radiohead fan. All the internal organs of my mom thinks I'm weird.... :/
Every Radiohead song is an experience.
I first heard this song during one of the most painful moments of my life, now I can't listen to it enough when I'm melancholic.
I like it. Embrace your sadness.
Same here...first time I heard it, I had just recently found out that my husband who I had a child with and another on the way was cheating on me with my friend from high school.
Hi Gabriela 🙋♂️
@Amber Rollins.....What a greedy fucking asshole.
I can’t find a single girlfriend, yet your husband not only married you, but had two beautiful children by you and then had to have more!? 😤
Radio head , Bjork and Peter Gabrial have the BEST visual creative expression . Breath taking , thank you for sharing your beauty
I am a headless Radio, and 12 year old boys think it's weird that I go to class.
The girl who gave this cd for my birthday back in 2007 wanted to be my friend…..but not my lover. It still stings a bit when I think back on it.
I feel like I just did a couple of silly mushrooms and it was terrific
I am Earth. I was born 4.6 billion years ago. Or 10,000 years ago I'm not sure. All my baby pictures were blurry. Anywho, I listened to Radiohead when I was born.
wow 😂😂
Well hello Earth, i'm Uranus :3
great comment
The fake plastic one? My woman uses you for her fake Chinese rubber plant. It wears her out. Anywho, I used to do surgery for girls in the 80s.
