The juxtaposition of the meaning of that stone, the epic music, and the sudden appearance of the contents of your toolkit...it was pretty awesome 😄. Great scenery.
I love hearing about the history and the scenery is absolutely beautiful.
Well, I never thought I'd be getting a history lesson today, brilliant! Feel free to tell us more, I love history, but know very little about Scotland.
Stunning scenery as always! Thank you for the history lesson Graeme. 😊 Thanks too for showing us all the contents of your toolbox. I strangely find it very fascinating! Lol
Beautiful countryside and music. Thank you for explaining the tools and their purpose. You have much to take pride in.
Hey Graeme!! You forgot your iodine spray and safety glasses!! 🙂 How often do you have to change the blades on the disks? Love your videos, I could watch you trim all day!! Have a good one, Cheers!!!
Absolutely one of my favorite things is when you tell about your beautiful Country Greame I have a friend there I love dearly he a lot like you. He wears his Heart on his sleeve for the world to see Much love for you and James your both so very amazing May God Bless you both
Totally bummed out I missed your live show show earlier today. O well I’ll make sure I have some good questions ready for you, next time I am fortunate enough to catch your next live ask a hoof trimmer anything video stream .... plus the giveaway is always a bonus ..... any way cheers and I’ll talk to you when I talk to you , thanks for the great shots of Galloway park!
I love how you give us a bit of beautiful Scotland in your videos!
Thanks for showing your beautiful homeland and toolkit.
Added Scotland to my bucket list a while ago but after all the videos and photos you've posted apparently more time will needed to be spent there. So many beautiful areas to see.
what fun to see your menagerie of tools, and also to see the Robert the Bruce historical marker, because my brother did a boatload of geneology years ago and it turns out our family is related to...Robert the Bruce! Cool beans, eh!! Thanks!
There is no way to prove that claim.
I dragged my husband over to watch this one :D He loved the history at the beginning and seeing all of the tools that you use for your trimming. He said 'He's really a great guy, isn't he?!" and I of course said 'Yes, he is indeed'. Thank you for your sharing and the way that you do it!
Graeme, great vlog!
Beautiful country!
Wonderful information about equipment and history.
🙏🏻🤗👍🏻🌻💕💕
Looks like a lovely fishing stream.
Beautiful. I enjoy watching your videos.
Love the history lesson, love the scenery! If you ever want a second job, do travelogues. Beautiful work.
Thank you for being you!
A live stream and a video tonight, winner, winner chicken dinner👍👍
I thought it was just brilliant interlacing so many valuable lessons. Between the awesome scenic views, interesting history lesson, explanation of your tool kit, and fabulous music, there was something for everyone! I REALLY enjoy your videos!! Thank you for the time and hard work that you put into these videos, just for us♥️!
Beautiful landscape totally awesome ciao 👍👍👍
We watched a movie called the outlaw king. It’s about Robert the Bruce. Great movie and decently accurate. Nice to see relief where one of the battles took place.
Whimsical music choice, nice
Interesting 🤔. Beautiful land
Beautiful...
Was very interesting both Burns and tools. Thank you.
Ur are amazing 💙 keep being humble ❤️💙
ok, well I thought there was a fancy name for that tool other than a "Knife"...Thank you Mr. Parker
Thank You for the beautiful scenery. I love history. Such a beautiful country. If I moved there I may never leave.
This is the most useful video i ever see... .. I like the other ones but specially this one... Good morning from Bogotá Colombia.....
Very well done. Seeing Scotland in winter makes me anxious to see how it changes in the coming seasons. I was surprised to learn that your trimmer has blades. Silly me....I assumed it was a grinder much like a heavy duty file.
Thanks for taking us there. May GOD BLESS
Had a great time on your live chat GP!!👍
I’ve been looking forward to this!!
Thank you glad you did!!!
The Hoof GP What’s the piece of music in the video it’s gorgeous
Amazing drone footage and scenery, beautiful, love the history too. Thank you
Two in one day! 😍
Beautiful scenery as always. So interesting about Robert the Bruce, and the stone to get married by. Awesome bit of history......... :)
I love the composition of your videos of the land and sights such as this one. You have an obvious eye .
Simply the best!!!
I love that you also do history lesson as well.. shows your love for your country and its history!!1
I love the beautiful scenery
That is the exact same knife I use pretty much daily during growing season on my small acreage. A carbon steel Opinel gets sharp and stays sharp better than any other pocket knife I've ever had. Plus, it has a locking ring so fumble-fingered me can't become nine-fingered me! This is the first time I've run across somebody else who uses one.
Awesome from start to finish. I actually bought Neil Oliver's 'Rise of the Clans' series on Amazon Prime a couple of weekends ago. The first episode about Robert the Bruce was my favorite. When Neil mentioned the Galloway peninsula, I said, " Hey that's where Graeme and James Parker are from!" 😀
Wow what a cool bit of history there, I’d like to hear more as well.
Learning so much. Thank you
I have Scottish ancestors, Armstrong clan, and I always love the scenery and learning about Scotland from you. I've only ever been to the northeast part of Scotland, mostly Aberdeen, so seeing the Southwestern part is nice. Even though I think all of Scotland is beautiful!!!!
Good work
Enjoyed the walk through history.
In Michigan, we call the adhesive wrap by co-flex or vet wrap. Comes in handy for all sorts of things, from large to small animal boo-boos.
Even human boo-boos.
I want to visit Ireland and trace where my family came from. Now I want to visit Scotland too. Truly a place magical enough to fight for. Beautiful shots.
TC cutters the paragon of materials, nice to see you like the Opinel knives, I love these too, the most simple of designs, works every time and with the high carbon steel you can get a shaving edge and for under 15 quid it is a no brainer.
Always nice to see the tools of a master laid bare, with no 'gimmicky' trick gear, just normal tools used to the best effect.
These blow torches are awesome, I use it as well to heat the loctite adhesives to remove couplings from old water cooling steel pipes.
Could listen to you talk all day 😂
Thank you! ... most people ask me to shut up after 10 minutes lol
The Hoof GP think it’s the accent 😂 I’m from the west coast it’s similar
@@TheHoofGP As a Scot ( from Wick in Caithness) now living in Virginia, USA I am used to folks saying "say something, I just want to hear your accent". LOL been here over 30 yrs and still get that almost daily.
Be proud of it. I´m an American living in Germany and am always being told I have a neat Accent.
@@TheHoofGP another great video love the backround area keep them coming.
Fantastic video well done .👍🇬🇧🍺🤘
Beautiful
Excelente vídeo 👍
Keep up good work grea
Enjoyed this a bunch.
Your video production skills are impressive.
Milwaukee makes the best cordless angle grinders in my opinion. You can get 12 amp hour battery’s for them now I think and they are the smoothest grinder I have ever used compare to like hitchi draper dewalt mikita
I find the makita 5" with paddle switch to be decent enough for construction use and workshop fabricating.
Personally I use a double charger and have 6 5ah batteries so the smaller ah batteries are not a issue.
I can see why using the grinder constantly the 8ah is beneficial though.
Great awesome amazing! Just booked my first alone vacation. Couldn’t swing Ireland or Scotland:( boo.
Now I have pneumonia and watching this. Thanks. I love learning new things and what other people do. I love your attitude humility and compassion/empathy for you clients and family
At least with the aerials I can imagine
You headed anywhere nice? Hope you are on the mend.
..What!!!. no coffee cup in the tool box ?...lol.. great vid...
Interesting! That countryside looks similar to rock formations here in CO. I've never seen knippers so clean and shiny!.
Very good video! Enjoyed seeing the beautiful landscape of my ancestral home and hearing more about the Bruce. I did not know about that rock. You carry a lot of tools about as you go. Our farrier used nippers frequently on the horses. I suppose they are better for horses since they don't have separate toes?
Just because I'm bored out of my gord tonight..... I was listening to the part where you describe your tools in slow mo....
I can't decide which is which, if you sound more drunk or stoned in .5 or .25 play back speed. LOL
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love videos like this. So relaxing to watch.
Have you started to take the kids to these places?
I appreciate that you don't feel the need for a cattle prod. With 200+ beef cows we never used the one that was left when we moved in. My Grandfather who was a rancher and horseman since dirt was invented always said they were for ranchers that couldn't out-think their cows.
You forgot the #1 tool you use every day. Your coffee cup or mug lol Thanks for sharing and have a good day.
How could I forget that?!
I'm not sure how I got started watching your videos but I looked for this one just to see the disc.
So since you brought up Robert the Bruce first I'm going to ask a real Scott how they feel about the 'Braveheart' movie and it's interpretation of the real man and event.
Aye we run through the glens looking like Smurfs 😂. Personally I hated the film but I was forced to watch it by the English ex.
Great Video! Thanks for the peek at your homeland and your tools. I grew up high in the Appalachian Mountains- a place full of Slate and Coal. Life is good, isn’t it?
Just wondering when calving starts......wouldn’t mind seeing some little ones again and their “mango like” hoofees☺️
I have purchased a lot of tungsten carbide inserts for my lathes (both wood and metal) using AliExpress, and am very pleased with the quality, and just as important, the price, between one fifth and one eighth of the local prices. And they have all varieties. Also remember: almost all the inserts are made in China for the different companies.
I'm from America. Graeme, due to your videos I'm so in love with Scotland. I MUST visit there someday! I especially love castles. If there are any castles near you, or the farms you work at, would you please video them and tell us about them? Thank you SO MUCH!!
I will make sure to put some in the videos.x
@@TheHoofGP Oh, thank you thank you thank you!!!!!
Found your channel recently and love the passion you have for what you do.
On the carbide inserts, do you tend to crack them before they dull? If they are just dulling, do you rotate them before changing?
Some gear lad
I am a retired pharmacy technician. I have worked for re retail
and long term care pharmacy. Thanks for asking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Didn't know Mikado made grinders.
You gotta collect the stickers and send them in or something? :P
I have been wanting to move to Scotland for years and years!! This does not help my homesickness. The scenery is beautiful.
I'm so sorry I missed your livestream today. I had to take my wife back to the hospital. Cancer sucks.
Thanks for showing us your tools. Can't wait to see the new crush. When do you expect to see it?
I'm hoping to see it when I'm over in Wisconsin in February. Hoping it'll be delivered here by beginning of april.
Near my house in the USA, there is a stone monument that was erected in 1307. It says “wait here for 400 years and something might happen “ 😀
The blades in the trimming disc look a lot like the one's used in a machine shop lathe and mill. Can you do the same and use all 4 cutting edges? I mean when 1 side gets dull you take it out turn it ninety degrees and put it back in.
I would think he would be able to. I used to help out at an industrial supply company when I was in high school and I remember counting similar inserts (inventory) that would be used on a lathe.
Love you You Tube. But I fell in love with your Brother.
👍
Just curious, since you learned about this trade from your stepfather, I'm sure you've seen older tools he may have used, do you enjoy collecting old tools of the trade???
Hey Texas_stone_Stone
That’s a good question. I hope he replies.
"Clicky satisfaction" 😂
😁😆😅🤣😂🤣😆😊
First one onto this one lad how you getting on
Looks like you need a power wash 🧼 there seems to be a little poo 💩 on them. Lmao 😂 just giving a giggle for ya❣️
Mist farms already have great washing facilities for me
Well! that made me much smarter.
Okay I missed the web address for the iodine paste. Im a vet student and would love to know more about it but can't find it when I look it up.
Btw your videos are awesome and I enjoy learning about hoof trimming!
FREEEEEEDOMMMMMMM!
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
I've always wondered what the grinder blades look like up close
I need this all tools.
I'm Swiss by birth, and your story of Robert the Bruce has an analogous story in Swiss history as well against the much larger Austrian army
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Morgarten
What kinds of disc do you recommend for sheeps and goats? Keep up the good work
Love your channel. What do you think of Demotec dl disks?
A question, you don't take anything for amputations?
He's not a veterinarian
Ah sorry, I thought he was...in Italy you have to be a vet also to do hoof trim.
Is that the raiders road @7:20 right side of the burn?
All the tools in your man bag? 😁
Any chance we can get an update on cow 812 please?
So have you decided whether the trim tech or the other brand is the the best trimmer. If you have can you explain why? I am thinking about getting one to try on horses.
