I'm a big Seahawks fan and I dogged on Russ for the first season he was gone. I started pulling for him again last year. I got nothing but love for and wish the best for "Danger" Russell Wilson in Pitty (except against the 'Hawks of course). Love you guys!

Same…I got over the pettiness after the 1st season Russ was gone and rooted for him this last season. Shaun Payton is a sh*tbag…he was intent on getting rid of Russell no matter what. Wish nothing but bad for Denver as long as that arrogant dbag Payton is the Head Coach.
Seahawks played injured players and ruined their bodies and career longevity. When Richard Sherman was played injured ,I lost any respect and then with Russell Wilson. Don’t know who did it or why😝

It's interesting how fans have so much hate for players on other teams, but with these two brothers, it's all love and wanting to see players on other teams thrive.
When you play a sport professionally, you kinda stop being a fan of individual teams. Because players all move around, and they dont have a lot of control over where they go. So even if you only ever play for one team, everyone else around you comes and goes and that's part of the job.
And of course players on rival teams still have more in common than they have different. They are all dealing with constant physical stress, travel, dealing with agents and sponsors, all kinds of stuff.
So even if you played for the Falcons and don't have a lot of love for the Pats, you are still hoping that individual players stay healthy and have a good career.

I stopped caring about the Seahawks too, but Russ dumped THEM. They had no intention of trading Russ, and due to the no-trade clause in his contract, they couldn’t trade him without his permission or a demand anyway.
Yet, you have all of these talking heads saying the Seahawks moved on from Russ. Russ moved on from the Seahawks. Now they like to say that two teams have said they’re good on Russ, when that couldn’t be further from the truth.
The Seahawks still wanted Russ when he demanded the trade, and they were embarrassed that they had publicly said they were excited for the 2022 season with a fully healthy Russ and got blindsided.
That’s why they lied and said Russ wanted to leave because they told him he wasn’t going to get a lot of money on his next contract!
He was only a year into a contract he had just signed at the time, so the Seahawks didn’t know what they were going to do.
The Seahawks organization told a bunch of lies about Russ after he left, and they lied about the way they felt about him too. If they could have kept him, they would have. He forced them to trade him by telling them he wouldn’t sign another contract with them. So of course they wanted to get max value for him, which meant trading him asap.
They had been rejecting offers, including one from the bears that ironically would have sent the draft pick that became Justin Fields plus a bunch of other players and picks to Seattle.
Russ still killing it.

I’m a Steelers fan I definitely wouldn’t say Russ is the missing piece.. line needs to be better, and since Johnson trade we need to find a solid wr 2 and draft one, but I will say all the bums are gone and we are finally moving in the right direction for once
Would’ve been great to get Keenan because we have a QB on a min contract, focus on the line in the draft otherwise the best skill positions in the league
Russ is the missing piece, but neither he nor any other QB will do the Steelers any good unless they address that O-Line.
Good pick up with Russ and Fields, but I don’t get hiring Smith as the OC in Pittsburgh. Play calling and talent evaluation was his biggest problem in Atlanta. Tomlinson is a defensive guy, what will he say about turnovers and boneheaded play calls.

Pickett was the emotional pick because he was a local product. But he's just not durable enough to have a long career in the NFL. And his decision making when pressured wasn't great.
