  • Naming this species was pretty tricky, I thought of Tiger Tegu, Tegusuchus, or the Tyrant Tegu, given how lots of other spec. evo animals from various artists also sometimes use the word "tyrant".

This looks really neat! I would like to just say that I would totally be down to see/play a spec evo Minecraft mod, as you said in the maroon bloom frog video, this genera is greatly underrated in the Minecraft modding scene, thanks for showing this off! If you do end up making it I will be definitely be there and excited to see it!

Question: What species did this evolve from?
Because I’m not educated enough in spec evo to guess

Its ancestor is ment to be any Tegu lizard in general, it could be for example this species:
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argentine_black_and_white_tegu
In spec. evo community, the today's ancestral animal is given rather to be a lineage of animals than the certain species, which is why I didn't say "this X species in particular evolved into this".
