_I like a good just add water meal. The kicker is to add a little something. I used to keep a bottle of Tabasco in my pocket. Herbs and spices weigh nothing and are easy to keep but obviously things like butter or cheese or meat that serve to amp stuff right up are hard to store but if you carve off a piece of hard cheese such as parmesan, pecorino or manchego or a piece of cured, dried meat like salami, chorizo or pepperoni that are easier to keep then you can tweak stuff right up!_

_I used to live in a bedsit that had no space for a fridge so I just made do without so I know all the tweaks and cheats for living without a cooler_

Good review. The main point about these is that they are dehydrated meals rather than freeze dried ingredients that are mixed together. They are all really acceptable.
Like you I find the taster packs are quite big enough for a lunch while the full size packs are a good sized main meal.
These are the main reason that I’ve started carrying a petromax fire kettle (kelly kettle alternative) in place of a stove, as boiling water is all I need.

These stoves are great. Boiles quick with not much fuel. I tried some freeze dried ones and they are a bit hit and miss. Thanks for watching

They did look good, and the price seemed reasonable. Thank you for the great review, Joe and Trudy. Stay safe and stay cool

For the weight, 1 pack of wet food from the camping shop is prob about 3 of these. Thanks for watching

May have to try those, better than eating MRE’s all the time.
Taster packs look a handy size for space saving thanks for the vid 👍

How do these compare to summit to eat? I love their beef stew. :)

I eat both. These seem to have more substance. But like if your eating at someone’s house and they add stuff to food you don’t like I just pick out anything odd

Even tho its lighter you still need to heat water up to eat it so i dont get where your saving weight and a ready meal can be eaten cold which this cant, its just a gloyfied pot noodle but looks nice

I am sure it tastes better when you are really hungry, like after a long hike.

@@prepperinthewoods Even fish when you are hungry enough. I will add a few of these in my bugout bag I am making.
Point is that is really easy to be able to find some water to boil for this reason.
