  • In this quick video we demonstrate the best type of product to use as a pre-wash - especially during the winter months. Is it an all purpose cleaner (Carpro Multi-X), is it a citrus based traffic film remover (AutoFinesse Citrus Power), or is it a good old professional grade snow foam used at the correct PIR (Bilt Hamber Auto Foam)?

    Thank you. A great informative video. For the record I always use BH but will now consider using a citrus based product. Thanks again.

      Lovie Lovegrove - Thank you for your kind words. Glad the video was of use! We generally use Citrus based TFR’s for bug removal, or very heavy contamination where they really show their performance differences against snow foams - although BH AutoFoam stands out from other snow foams as it still excels! If you’ve not checked out the rest of the channel please do. In one of our early videos we showcased the difference between AF Citrus Power vs AF Avalanche where the differences in performance were clearer to see. If you’ve not subscribed please make sure you do! Thanks 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗

    Koch Chemie Green Star in a pump sprayer at 8:1/ 10:1 or Surfex HD at the same concentration ratio followed by BH Auto Foam 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

      Maurizio giasan - Thanks 😎. Yes we could do - however Dynamite is just a concentrated version of Citrus Power which you dilute for various uses. Thanks for watching. If you’ve not already done so please check out the rest of the channel & subscribe! Thanks 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗.

    I’ve got citrus power and auto foam but what’s the difference between citrus power and dynamite traffic film remover ?
    Is it worth buying the dynamite as it works out cheaper and does it work as hood as citrus power ?

    • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před 2 lety +1

      Imran Ali - Dynamite is a concentrated version of Citrus Power! Dynamite allows you to mix a citrus based traffic film remover to the concentration of your choice - whereas Citrus Power is a ready mixed version - but in essence yes Dynamite is just as good as Citrus Power. Thanks for watching. If you’ve not done so already check out the rest of the channel, and make sure you subscribe. Thanks 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗

      Alister Mcintyre - Citrus Power is highly effective! We use it mainly for removing summer bugs which it does with ease 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗

    • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před rokem +2

      Abdul Beany - Absolutely! The advantage with Dynamite is that it cleans really well but does not strip wax or sealant layers! Enjoy … 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗

      Is it streak free or does it leave streaks on car and how long do i leave it on before i pressure wash off thanks

    • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před rokem +2

      Abdul Beany - Streak free if used correctly, depends on amount of surface contamination you are trying to remove, temperature, humidity etc but couple of minutes should suffice. Most important tips are not to use on direct sunlight or allow it to dry! 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗

    Great video as always. My prewash combo is Koch Chemie gsf, combined, if needed, with Koch Chemie green star. I would definitely try the Bilt Hamber auto foam but I can't find it in my area. All the Bilt Hamber products I've used are great.

    • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před 2 lety +1

      VasTs - Thank you for your kind words! Koch Chemie products are great - you use a killer combo! Bilt Hamber Auto Foam is highly effective due to its chemical composition of ‘wetting agents’. It’s just as effective at up to 4% PIR in spray form or foam! Definately worth trying to get your hands on some if you can 👍🏽🚗🙏🏽

    • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před rokem +2

      Abdul Beany - Thanks for watching! Yes - safe for use on paintwork, glass & plastics. Just dilute to the required strength and make sure you don’t use it in direct sunlight or allow it to dry! If you’ve not already done so please check out the rest of the channel & subscribe! Thanks 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗
