I’m aware that animation takes time, but it’s always appreciated when you guys update us on this project. I’m so excited for these shorts to be released and I wish you the best of luck on the pitch to make Hullabaloo a feature film.
You guys are carrying on the legacy that Walt Disney started. Full length feature animation. I hope that because of this, there is a resurgence in Traditional (and Hand Drawn Digital) Animation. I have seen so many talented animators who themselves are starved for good animation again. I've seen them push the envelope far beyond what the major studios are willing to even attempt. Honestly, if I had the capital and the business know-how I would start a new Animation Studio with the sole purpose of financing projects like yours and hiring talented artists with this same passion. Again, thank you guys so much for keeping the dream alive.
I started feeling horrible and started spiraling in anxiety and then THIS popped up in my recommended. Thank you so much for this, i really needed it! Good to see you guys are still going strong!
I am excited to see this update, we appreciate the great effort that is being made, I have followed this project for years and will continue to look forward to seeing the finished result. Also, super fantastic musical theme made by Manuel Gil-Inglada
AMAZING, I just recently found out about this, and since most of the videos were from years ago I was scared it was cancelled (even though I am well aware of just how long these take to make) I’m sooo glad to see you guys are still going!!
I've been waiting for these for a long time, but I don't mind waiting a bit longer, if that's what it takes. I'd rather they be done well than done quickly, and from what I'm seeing here, they're definitely being done well. Thanks for the update!
Je suis ce projet depuis quelques temps, étant fan de Steampunk, je vous souhaite bon courage dans cette aventure. I follow this project a couple of years ago, as a Steampunk fan, I wish you good luck to end it.
It's so wonderful to see the progress that you are making on this! It will be great to see the finished shorts. It's also really cool to see this behind the scenes stuff.
Awesome, i am always impressed by your artwork. In your point of vue, witch one is the better for doing 2DAnimation? Paper or digital? In order to have quality and to work more quickly?🤔 (sorry for my English i am French and my English is sooo bad... I am not good in 2d Animation too but I really love this job and I try it when I have free time, sometimes 😅
@@kxmode What promise has he not kept? He started out hoping to raise enough money to make 1 short and ended up with a windfall and enough to make 4. The 2 shorts you're referring to will be done in Feb and the other 2 are 95% done. He will end up having produced 4 extremely high-quality 2D animated shorts.
@@trevortamboline279 What promises? "Estimated Shipping. July 2015." There's a mutual understanding that estimated shipping dates are just that, but there's no justification for being woefully over-scheduled. Even by producer standards, going five years over the expected delivery date is not acceptable. James was untruthful with people. He knew full well there was no way he and his team could deliver four shorts in a year, much less six. As a backer, I'm entitled to my discontent with this project. Please stop defending their timeline. It's indefensible.
@@kxmode Don't tell me what I can and cannot defend... I can defend whatever I choose. "Estimated Shipping. July 2015"... you do understand what the word "estimated" means, correct? And that would have been for one short. The game changed when he received far more funding than he asked for. Now he could create the equivalent of a feature 2D film. He is doing 4 shorts, with feature quality production. Have you any idea how long a feature animated film takes to complete? The amount of work that is involved? The army of artists needed? This is art, not bricklaying. You feel cheated that he didn't produce it at far lower quality just to make your deadline? I'm a backer too and if James decides to take 10 years to create the best animation possible, I'm totally happy with HIS decision... because in the end it's HIS project. James has continually kept everyone informed on the progress of Hullabaloo, and the finish line in nearing. Many crowd-funded projects never see the light of day... with James I'm 100% positive he will come through with an amazing looking project he can be proud of. And those of us more tolerant, less needing instant gratification fans will be far more grateful he took the time and care to see his project through to the end the RIGHT WAY.

excited to see these updates. Can't wait to see the finished piece.
Love how its been 6 years now but I still keep seeing updates. Please don't give up on this project! I'm looking forward to this verily since 2014.
I am glad that this project is still alive!

So happy this project is continued! I love traditional animation!

This is such an amazing process and the movements look so fluid! Gosh, why aren’t films like these mainstream anymore?
as a wise man once said; "You can't rush art!"
It feels like years since I heard any progress on this movie. Glad to see the progress is still going on.
The hand drawn aspects always look do good. Love the updates.
I'm still super excited!
THIS IS SO COOL I HOPE THIS BECOMES SOMETHING HUGE!!!!

Aww shieet FINALLY another video!
Really looking forward to this after all these years of waiting.
c'est cool de savoir que le projet n'est pas abandonné !
Yay an update!!!
Amazing! I love these behind the scenes stuff. What software do you guys use for rendering animation?
You are not dead, wow
Looks amazing
waiting!!
How much longer until the finished product comes out?

I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS :D
What software you use in digital?
I prefer rough animation on paper with pencil, not clean-up animation on paper.
2 of 4 after 5 years....
Your point?
