A proper intellectual will always have a good source of light to study under. I think St. Trina's Torch fits the bill.
what with St. Trina's Torch on comment some inside joke i need to know ?
Everyone wants him to use st. Trinas torch@@goblincomic4522
Ive heard intellectuals believe ST trinas torch is the best weapon
As an intellectual I can confirm this statement
No silly that’s what faithful people think, intellectuals understand that saint Trina’s sword is the best weapon
That's for the faithful types, intellectuals don't play with fire
Yeah, this is old and just juvenile at this point.
I hit something in the coliseum duels thing and it said something about the battle not going toward my rank after the next battle... Anyone have any idea what the heck I hit? Is this some new feature? I took a picture that I can post if someone needs it.
I thought that dude at 12:36 got turned into a skeleton when you exploded him, for a second
Same that was so cool
That Karmic Justice at 7:08 when the ambush gankers get killed by the fire pillar. 😆
That Sauron cosplay was Saneroot-level quality, tbh.
It’s crazy how when chase invades the player is sweating and fighting for their life and chase is just having fun messing around
He became too good at casul chasing
that Sauron cosplay in the steam vents spot was so neat! love to see it
Bro that 3 man failed ambush was absolutely hilarious. Can outsmart the intelligence build
Is it just me or is Chase becoming more of a wizard?
He was meant to destroy the wizards, not join them
C'mon like you've never had a wizard phase 🧙

12:34 EKSUPLOSION🤯🧨🧙♀️🧨🤯
2:56 are you trying to tell me, that this whole time Chase has been playing with the controller that hasn't been working at 100%?!
Yeah its resulted in some weird weapon swaps haha
12:34 I thought the Host got turned into a goddamn ghostly burning skeleton 😂
Lore accurate Ghostflame😂😂
Chase truly is experiencing the Weezard fever, hope is that isnt terminal and become addicted to the pew-pews or unable to see other colours than blue.
Hey! Wizards can see other colors! Like. Blueish green. And blueish purple.
The greatest twist is watching Chase pull the Moonveil, but then get perfect-blocked by a host who proceeds to charge Chase despite losing 2/3rds his health.
Absolute chad behavior.
Sauron cosplay was the best part. He’s a winner.
True intellectuals always leave a like on Chases videos! Cheers friend!
No gravity kills today. A lot of these invasions were in places that didnt have a ledge.
13:34 close one
68 gravity kills since march 9th, totaling 63k~ damage
Sad day 4 u
Sad day to be einstein (inventor of gravity)
@@oldstarouijaboard42 You heard that bois? This dude doesn't know Archimedes invented gravity...
@@TC-rc1zf just means a day where I get to enjoy the video without pausing!
@@raijinoflimgrave8708 love it
Verily, I am upon my journey forthwith, making haste towards my destination with all due diligence and resolve, to use St. Trina’s torch to confuse my enemies.
It's all fun and games until another chase's video isn't about St. Trina's Torch.
Last Miyazaki interview informs that St Trina will appear in DLC, it's almost time
I haven't visited your channel since your Dark Souls 3 Vort Great hammer video. Its good to see how much it has grown since then. I cant wait to for more builds until the DLC drops.
For some reason I always love to see the dark moon greatsword in pvp, especially potential mixups. Simple but satisfying.
17:58 I've slept so much on this weapon until I saw ur old vid about it. This thing has a crazy hitbox and is honestly a solid INT weap.
You really just went and stood in that Nebula.
Hey if you do dex sword and board again at any point, can you give the Sword of St Trina another shot?
Its AoW was broken during the weapon showcase and I feel like it needs another chance.
Catch ya next time!
Sauron cosplay was awesome. Great invasions!
Weapons for intellectuals as well as hats for intellectuals!
5:30 This invasion and the guys in tunnel dying to Wave of Darkness were the best. 😂
i would love another good looking armor set akin to scaled in the dlc, everytime i take it off i miss it
That Sauron cosplay was pretty good :D
YOOO I was the Sauron in the last clip!! I did not realize who you were, and I quickly found out 😂
Dope cosplay, intentional battle area? or just a lucky invasion?
Amazing cosplay man! All the way down to the location, it was perfect haha
@@balverine07 TYSM! Intentional staging. I was tryna play in character all dramatic and cool, and Chase here had other plans 😂
@@PPPrettyPumpkinSeems pretty lore accurate that, despite having the home field advantage and a big ole bonk stick the big bad did die to the protagonist ;)
@@ChaseTheBro Thanks, that means a lot! I hope I see you again around Mordor!
Ive been wanting to get into PVP and this was the build I beat the game with basically ! Thank you for giving me an outline on things I should go grab to refine my build for the start of my pvp journey
Ayoo 😂 even more of that filthy cutlery shenanigans! 🧙🗡
And *St.Trina's torch* is the best weapon for insomnia. 😉👍
Wizards mentioned at least 10 times:
01:24 Wizards
01:33 Big Wizardry
01:37 Just the tool for you Wizard
02:11 Not worth it with the Wizard behind
06:00 This is for the Wizard
07:47 I got the Wizard
08:02 This guy is an enjoyer of the Wizardry
17:50 Oh my god, Wizard! Hey Wizard
17:57 Hey Wizard
Since I started counting there were 3619.2 mentionings of Wizards across 307 videos.
Bonus:
07:58
11:21
12:33
19:06
Holy shit 3691.2 wizards
The way they constantly tries to attack you without realizing the invincible I-frames upon invading makes me think those guys were 8-12 year olds.
12:32 the guy was obliterated and turned into bones 😂😂
That Sauron fight at the end was awesome aesthetically. Love your gameplay!
Live by the pillar, die by the pillar...
Also, this Sauron cosplay was spot-on ! The great mace, the Offnir helmet, the area. It was well chosen, indeed.
Thank you for providing the knowledge to kick ass!
Chase your the best I absolutely adore your content I’ve been watching for over 3 years now!
Lol simp
11:22 skill expression right there, enough to suprise chase
i love when chase puts the hat on :)
17:34 knight came out of the corner pissed af!
chase would you ever consider trying out a second weapon in the off-hand for mix-ups and (true) combos? also i think it'd be cool to see you try out hybrid builds like spell-swords/semi-casters but focused on melee
Seconded.
And if I may be more specific, an arcane build for the former, and a wing of Astel focus for the latter, it has such great moveset synergy.
“Real Mensa use Strength Intelligence builds”
-Ancient Wise/Intellectuel ER Proverb.
love the sauron fight!
I like how no matter what every build is still scaled armour and sweihander
Sweet, sweet poetic justice on that flame pillar gank failure
Great content
3:39 actually hitting someone with the L2 of Helphen's Steeple is 🤌🤌🤌
Bro you killed your m8 at 8:18 and didnt even mention it 😭😂
12:33 it looks like your attack turned the guy into a skeleton 😂
You should do a spell blade build! I feel like it’s usually all magic or no magic, but it’d be sick to see them together.
Chase, have you ever considered using the Frozen Needle on your future DEX builds? Only a B in scaling, but has projectiles on it's heavy attacks, and powerstances nicely with just about every thrusting sword, especially if you're running frost weapons, since it has innate frostbite buildup. I think you'd find it entertaining, since it can basically take the role of Wing of Astel but for pure DEX.
11:24 okay I have to spend hours practicing perfect blocks but this guy just pulls one out on accident. Life just isn’t fair.
Something Trina’s Torch something something
Guys I think chase has entered his evil arc
Spells and incantations was never really fun for me. I have a strength/intelligence and a strenth/faith build. I'm not going away from my old ways but adding intelligence and faith doesn't hurt
Dang, and here I was hoping for a Moongrum cosplay. It is great to watch at low level with the Carian Knight's Sword, Carian Retaliation and Carian Piercer
I’m convinced Chase will not touch St. Trina’s torch until the day before the next FromSoft game releases lololol
Ghost flame torch cause that ambience 👌
Would love to see you bring Death to some fools with the Godslayer Greatsword! Works well with endure trading the AoW
For a video could you try using some obscure weapons? The variety would be cool to see.
Here's a themed build (and not just because I want to see more videos of Zwei + Waves of Darkness)
MAGIC GIANTDAD
Starting Class: Astrologer
Level: 139
Vigor: 60
Mind: 22
Endurance: 21
Strength: 17
Dexterity: 12
Intelligence: 70
Faith: 7
Arcane: 9
Talismans:
Radagon Icon, Bull-Goat's Talisman, Erdtree's Favor +2, Great-Jar's Arsenal
Armor:
Omensmirk Mask, Crucible Axe Armor, Crucible Gauntlets, Crucible Greaves
Mainhand Weapons:
Magic Zweihander +25 (Waves of Darkness), Frenzied Flame Seal +0
Offhand Weapons:
Man-Serpent's Shield (Carian Retaliation), Azur's Glintstone Staff
Spells:
Carian Slicer, Carian Piercer, Carian Phalanx, Swift Glintstone Shard, Star Shower, Zamor Ice Storm, Adula's Moonblade, Cannon of Haima, Terra Magica, Law of Regression
Physick:
Intelligence-knot Crystal Tear, Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear
Notes:
The Omensmirk Mask gives you +2 Strength, enough to 1H the Zweihander, which of course can combo from a CR1 into a Carian Slicer.
The Intelligence-knot Crystal Tear lets you reinvest 10 points out of Int and put them into other stats, for this build that would be 3 points into Vigor to reach the 60 softcap and 7 into Mind for more FP to offset the 20% FP increase of Azur's Glintstone Staff. Going from 70 Int to 80 Int increases the Sorcery Scaling of the staff from 320 to 362, which is a 13.125% increase in magic damage dealt, which makes it a bigger boost than the Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear, and there isn't anything stopping you from stacking them together other than opportunity cost of using other Crystal Tears, but fundamentally I see nothing wrong with doing this.
The Bull-goat's Talisman gives you an effective 88 Passive Poise, which let's you trade using Carian Slicer against the followup swings of 2H Curved Swords.
Carian Phalanx will only fire if you are facing an enemy, meaning if you only _slightly_ face the enemy (no lock on) you can selectively fire each missile individually, letting you chain them together in a way that is practically impossible to dodge.
Waves of Darkness + Zamor Ice Storm + Adula's Moonblade is a great sequence of spells to get people off of you in an Invasion, if they try to run in after the third wave you can hit them with a wall of ice, and can follow that up with an Adula's Moonblade to smack anyone caught that got caught in the vortex.
Law of Regression can be used to remove troublesome buffs, like the Winged Crystal Tear, that would otherwise be obnoxious to play against. To use it on an Int build, all you need to do is equip a 0 weight Seal in your main hand (having Azur's in your offhand will noticeably increase the cast speed, but will increase the MP cost from 55 to 66) and viola!
The reason I call this a "Giantdad" build, is because the general silhouette of the Crucible Axe set reminds me of DS1 Giant armor, and also because it's wearing a Mask, and using the Zweihander, etc... this is not an Endurance build, but aesthetically it does kind of look like a Giantdad, perhaps a Giantdad that has fallen to the dark side and became a Blue Dex abuser.
The Ghostflame sword isn’t used enough tbh. Love to see it.
Best part of using int-scaling weapons is you can fire back and wizards with your own wizardry.
Hey Chase, have you considered using 2 different sword classes at the same time (something like a Fume knight cosplay)?
Chase is gonna Cook With a St Trina build once the DLC comes out
black knife showcase has a big brain
Hey chase? I got a shield I've never seen you use before. Do you have the sun realm shield? If not I can totally give you one! I got like three
If you need a reliable controller, the F310 has lasted me the longest. They aren’t ergonomic, but I’ve gone through a few pricey Xbox and PS controllers that all got stick drift, yet these never had an issue despite being 14 years old.
It truly amazes me how dude was OP on dark souls, and is still the same on Elden Ring given all the chances opponents have to actually corner and bombard him with spells or attacks and he still handles it gracefully..
I live my elden ring pvp life through Chase..😂😂
Very cool gameplay! Maybe a sleep build next time 👍🏽
Moonlight greatsword with jellyfish shield! You can still send out moonlight with the shield buff active!
I haven't even gotten into the video yet, but Wing of Astel is such a fun pvp tool
Hey Chase I love the content, I was curious if you could tell me how you binded your crimson flasks? I don’t see it on the quickbars, would love to have this on pc! Thanks if anyone has the answer
The only reason Chase was able to kill Sauron at the end is because his character is no man
Would you consider a hand cam or controller input overlay
chase have u played lies of p? will you stream it someday?
I've seen you use almost every weapon, but but I assume you haven't used the St Trina's Torch because you haven't found it yet! You see it comes from the caravan chest in the Consecrated Snowfield, good luck! 👍
Fire pillar was peak content
Edit: might not be great armor but Gravekeeper is pretty
rosus’s axe does mad work on these builds too but defiantly has less room for skill expression, i understand why you don’t use it.. as much as i’d like to see the skellys smack 3 gankers to death
So Miyazaki dropped that the knight St Trina will be in the dlc!!!! Now get that torch out Chase! Even Miyazaki wants to see you torch it up!!
Pretty sure St. Trina’s kicks butt on intelligence builds too…yep, positive.
Gankers getting their comeuppance. Glorious. 😎
So is your erd tree not fully burned? I'm assuming it's so the capital isn't ash yet so you can still invade it pre-burn?
What kind of controller/mapping setup do you use to swap weapons in the menu so well during combat?
Build idea. Grave scythe and regular scythe with frost. Budget sister freid or... Whatever her name is. I haven't done that dlc yet
First invasion: host is a radahn with bloodhound sword and greatshield whose fatrolling holding L2. The real int player
Where do you stream?
Something something something st trina's torch... Also btw int weapons have such cool ashes , there are some cool non magical ashes too but to me it doesnt seem like there are quite as many.
It astounds me that people still don't know about the spawn invincibility frames people get. I bet they think you're hacking when that happens XD.
St Trina’s Torch is a weapon!
3:30 I love video games for stuff like this, ima get hit with some big weapons so I'll eat crab
Sauron thought he was good😂 got flawless victories in first few exchanges is hilarious
Which weapon is in your off hand. The fire fist?
you are so good.
Chase cosplayed elden ring characters, what about cosplaying characters from other titles like the Sauron guy?
4:36 "how can she slap?"
If you invade into abandoned cave you should do them a favor and leave. =P
That invisible dragon gank is the ultimate bullshit. I wonder how long Chase had to wait for them to get away from it. I've dealt with ut before and it sucks
