TEAM SOLOMON

A moment of immense pride for all Solomon Islanders and supporting countries. The Solomon Islands proudly fielded the largest contingent in the 17th Pacific Games held in Honiara-an extraordinary achievement. This marked the first occasion for the Solomon Islands to host the Pacific Games, and the theme "Challenge, Celebrate, Unite" reverberated throughout the event. The pacific games opening ceremony captivated a broad audience across the region, making it the most widely watched Pacific Games to date. The atmosphere was filled with cheers, applause, and joyful dancing as Team Solomon basked in the spotlight of this historic moment during the official opening ceremony on 19 November, 2023.
