I would favour Cory in that fight .. IMO Cory is better striker technically with more weapons. And I think if they fight it will be mostly a stand-up fight.. but that being said Chito hits hard and its even scarier cuz it looks like he is not even hitting with his full might ..

Who on EARTH gives Song Yadong R2 when Cory opened up that vicious cut in that round? I thought this was a damage based sport....was there a more DAMAGING blow landed that entire fight BESIDES the elbow in R2 that sliced Yadong and later led to the stoppage of the fight?
Fwiw I agree that he won the second round, but your argument doesnt really make sense. What does more damage being struck with a bat or being given a paper cut? The presence of blood doesn't necessarily mean there was more damage

Chito would win because he’s more hungry. Cory just fought for a title, he’ll need to do more win or lose to get other shot. Whereas Chito is just 1 win away. Depending on how the UFC structures it, they could be setting up a Sean vs Chito rematch at the the top of the division.

Honestly, Merab doesn’t usually sit there with his wrestling so I disagree. He only laid on Aldo because Aldo was able to stuff EVERY takedown, credit to him. Merab has had many other matchups

Cory for merab is kind of easy fight. Merab ragdolls cory, only chance for cory to win is flying knee, but even that is hard to believe, merab sets up takedowns so well. I would say that merab should fight YAN/OMALLEY

Sandhagen arguably beat Dillashaw and had a hell of a fight with Yan. He’s clearly a title contender. So I don’t see how he’s “dreaming”. Chito’s recent wins are 40 year old Cruz, 40 year old Frankie Edgar, and 40 year old Davey fricken Grant. Sandhagen wins.

you do realize they're in probably the most stacked division in the UFC right? Henry Cejudo is possibly coming back and if he does it's a good possibility he faces the winner of TJ vs Aljo and also the winner Yan vs O Malley could potentially get a shot too. Chito vs Cory makes sense
My guy, I agree that Chito is due for a shot, mostly because I’m a big fan of Chito. But that division is way tooo stacked to really call that. Cory is a rock and he has legitimately fought the true killers. Not 40 years, nothing against Chito cuz the division is so stacked those are still solid fights. But him and Chito makes hugeeee sense. Especially since Yan will probably fight the winner of TJ and Aldo or fight Cejudo if he ever decides to sign a contract and comeback for a title eliminator.
@@JuliusCesar66 if Henry does in fact come back they'll probably just give him the winner of TJ vs Aljo since (just like TJ) he never was beaten for the belt. The only issue there is he might hold up the division since he wants to challenge Volkanovski for the 145 belt as well. Not sure how it's all going to play out.

They got robbed for Fight of the Night. Chidi vs Gregory Rodrigues was a great fight and all but was over in the 2nd where as this was 4 full rounds of high level violence
fotn is usually just given to like, exciting banger KO fights. i liked this one a lot (and it was way more technical) but it was a lot more low key unless you're a super big fan of ugly cuts and blood
