Watch this if you still not using a zero clearance insert on your table saw!!

This accident happened to me during crosscutting a 2" thick German Beachwood.
I am sharing this to help other woodworkers and hobbyists to avoid this from happening to them.

I've experienced this too. pretty scary when it happens. I still don't have a zero clearance insert but I put tape over the gap if I'm making a cut like that, or use my cross-cut sled which is zero clearance. Stay safe! 💪
