Hi Ziad, thanks for the video and the review on your site. I am in between the Sigma 11.24 and Alpina 4 MS. Could you give me a brief opinion as to why a pilot would choose one or the other? I am sure both are amazing wings, but in regards to performance, comfort and “nervousness”, how would you compare these two? Hi Daniel, Thank you for your message. I think both are very good C's. They both are very similar in comfort, and I would say probably the A4 seems very slightly more compact. Now if your all-up weight is 97...100, then the S11 would suit you fine. But if your all-up weight is around 93, then the A4 will do, if you don't want to get ballast. happy flights. :-)
You live in a wonderful, beautiful place. The sky, clouds, the sea, the gliders, all so gorgeous. It is interesting that the Sigma, even with a higher aspect ratio, has similar glide to the D4. Did you have a chance to thermal with it?
Hi, Thanks...but... There's no better glider rather than pilot feel under a certain glider! For some they prefer the short brake travel of the A6, some would prefer the comfort of the S11 and D4... some say that a certain glider meets their all up weight...others prefer certain brands or colors...Anyway, it's up to everyone very personal choosing. And for the future, everything comes with a price...more workload...more performance possibly...let's see :-)
