People to this day still think LEGO hates the prequels, which is literally the most ignorant thing ever considering how much they spoil us, and tbh I consider it spoiling cause tbh it’s like that one episode from gravity falls where Grunkle Stan says this one line: If you give your employees what you want they will end up stomping you, it applies the same to costumers and I have a prime example of it: Super Smash Broa Ultímate is among the greatest games of all time, however and between its long marketing campaign we got plenty of characters revealed, and many where fan favorites and people thanked them a lot but when the grinch leak got disproven those very same fans threaten to quit smash just because “they didn’t hear” to the fans. Now I agree the prices are getting a bit insane tho I still think they are reasonable, and those quality controls have to be fixed BUT you have to understand LEGO Star Wars is a licensed theme, Ninjago is not, and LEGO has more liberty with licensed themes that’s why we get more exclusive molds and I have proof of this, this isn’t a Star Wars problem only, look at the other licensed themes, they all get the same treatment! Wheatgrass look at the non licensed themes, they get the new molds it’s a matter of licensing. Now regarding the prices the only true way of stopping this isn’t annoying LEGO, it’s just stopping to buy the sets, let the word clear that you want change if not nothing will change. i dont understand how you can have have "only the best is good enough" as a slogan, but produce sets with with so many obvious small mistakes that are so easy to fix! And the pricing is awful, how could a kid afford multiple 332nd battle packs or a gunship? Lego is going a bit to faar in my opinion
I agree battle packs are highly over priced. My strategy now is to wait for discounts on most sets. Unfortunately I predict I'm going to be priced out of my favorite hobby in a few years if this trend keeps up.
I'm someone who buys lego sets with the money I findlaying around the house such as chage. I currently can't get a job due to some irl issues. Tbh after the clone fighter tank i really thought lego was going to start improving the quality of their minifigs especially, to conpensate for the rising prices. Despite the printed waist capes and not the best build, lego included 3 clones mace windu and even some battle droids which compared to the previous versions would show they listened to the fans for more clones in a clone set. The clones themselves were completely new prints in a new colour from a lesser known legion. Hell they weren't even seen on screen but it seemed as if lego were willing to start giving us a variety of new clone legiions in the neglected p2 style and we even got an airborne variation. The mace windu fig was already good and with arm printing even better, meaning it was a sensiable and fair addition. If lego continued these types of princiaples to all sets and where due, use arm printing / dual moulding where it vastly improves the fig, i think we would have a much fairer trade off for the price, but its only gone downhill fro there. Also themes like the cmf lines, most figures will have dual moulding arm printing, new moulds even for irrelivant characters, yet for such an asked figure like cody we couldnt even get arm printing or a new visor mould that couldve fixed the hole issue as it would be made to fit the on screen area and completed the figure nicely, but instead they completey ruined all helmets since they didnt want to replace a mould thats seven years old for a $140? set in their best selling theme!!? (Sigh)
I can't understand why Lego can't just Put the holes in the right position and not give us those ones that we want, and we get the ones with the holes on top.
I'm from Russia and prices on the sets with clones there is much more higher, than in other counties. Like at-te from last year is 150$, but justifier is usually about 135$ and this is strange. So for me (i'm 17) is very hard to hear about prices increase, because i don't know how far the prices will skyrocket....

Well that what Lego feels like rn. They know they can sell a set worth $100 for $150 and sell a $30 battle pack and people will gobble it up. They don't even care if it hurts the community they know theyll make money regardless.

Battle packs are already $20, and Lego is clearly experimenting with what us fans will buy before they start losing money (For example the 501st legion clone troopers and the republic fighter tank having the same amount of figs and a $10 price difference. Another problem I think us fans need to consider is LEGO might be flooding the market with all these clone trooper sets. Sure, I love clones but we are going on year 4 with clone battle packs(and their $30 and $40 variants) being consistently on shelves... Surely the value of clone troopers has to go down if Lego is giving us like 7 different clones within 2 years... right?
It’s a Shame because they realised that us the fans want certain ships characters and builds so they the increase the price beyond where it should be like with battle packs going from 10$ to 30$
I do understand and have noticed that lego has done stuff like this, again its also possible that we could see more than what he heard (i.e that gunship could come with a speeder) (swamp speeder could come with like 2 more b1s, or hopefully b2s) I would not mind a 25$ set lego, I just want more figs (cool we get a battle pack, but it be really cooler if we got a cannon and like 2 b1s and 2 b2s)

They generally make great job with the sets, good to hear they finally woke up and realised clone wars exist and that fans actually really like it. The problem with the Lego is for me even not the prices itself but the quality of the product. Using same molds for years and years, absolutely disgusting clones design etc. Even if the prices were high but the product we get was good enought i wouldnt mind, but now its just pathetic what lego do to star wars

LEGO should replace the gunship with the police gunship and include commander wolffe commander fox 2 shock troopers Ahsoka plo koon and Anakin and LEGO should also replace the swamp speeders minifigures with gree and 4 41st troopers and it should also include 2 battle droids also LEGO should just scrap the holes for the clone troopers or either put them in the right place and for visors there should be a new part for the visor and the helmet just for fox and also LEGO should make fox and Wolffe have there kamas or waistcapes and make foxs torso accurate

Well imma be honest, yea Lego's tactic works on me because im gonna buy 1 Gunship and 2-3 Battlepacks since it seems that Vaughn is having the same Helmet as the 332nd i can just remove the visor and have an extra 332nd! (and i love the 65th Coruscant Guards and a idea of a Coruscant Gunship)
Love this wave too and I think most of us do. The price is just horrendous. That is why I’m complaining about the holes. If they at least had increased their quality I perhaps would have let it slide. But damn 30$ for 100pcs
@@c-coin yea true but if the helmet holes were on the "original" hole spot visors and binoculars wouldn’t work and stretching the part a bit would look ugly too, i think thats why they put the holes a bit higher up. (But they could have made new visor moulds to fit the helmet)

I think it would not be that overpriced if they fix helmet holes. I aways wanted to have a gunship but lets look at the 75021 (2013 version) it has more pieces and 2 more minifigures i mean it would cost lego like 2 dollars to add a few b1 battle droids and it only costed 120 dollars adjusted for inflation its like 157 dollars. But this one has only 5 minfigures less piece count and almost the same price. Though i might still buy gunship i love gunships they are cool as hell.
The only clones I have with the helmet holes came in the AT-TE and I hate them. Swamp Speeder set sounds like it is ruined since they are cheaping out on Captain Vaughn and giving us the wonderful holes on the other troopers. What is crazy is they just released the AAT sets with the good 332nd helmets without the holes. Why not just leave the helmets with holes to the officers?! They really need three mold options depending on the character. One hole, two holes, and no holes. Same for the Mando helmets. They don't need two holes under most circumstances, e.g. Paz Viszla. They get more than enough money from us to do it right. All greed now. Granddaddy Kristiansen is probably rolling over in his grave. It is no coincidence that we've seen a clear decrease in quality since Niels Christiansen took over in 2017. I don't even care so much about the prices, but they can't justify price increases to me when quality is going downhill.

The swamp speeder ain't a battlepack. Its more like the 501st set, where theres an actual substantial build (supposedly).
It's 108 pieces it's not gonna be a substantial build. For reference the 501st battle pack was almost 300 pieces so the new price is ridiculous.

I think it would not be that overpriced if they fix helmet holes.
I aways wanted to have a gunship but lets look at the 75021 (2013 version) it has more pieces and 2 more minifigures i mean it would cost lego like 2 dollars to add a few b1 battle droids and it only costed 120 dollars adjusted for inflation its like 157 dollars. But this one has only 5 minfigures less piece count and almost the same price.
Though i might still buy gunship i love gunships they are cool as hell.
Agreed! At least 3 battle droids, minimum is 2 since that’d equal 1 figure ( I think that’s how that works ).

The only clones I have with the helmet holes came in the AT-TE and I hate them. Swamp Speeder set sounds like it is ruined since they are cheaping out on Captain Vaughn and giving us the wonderful holes on the other troopers. What is crazy is they just released the AAT sets with the good 332nd helmets without the holes. Why not just leave the helmets with holes to the officers?! They really need three mold options depending on the character. One hole, two holes, and no holes. Same for the Mando helmets. They don't need two holes under most circumstances, e.g. Paz Viszla. They get more than enough money from us to do it right. All greed now. Granddaddy Kristiansen is probably rolling over in his grave. It is no coincidence that we've seen a clear decrease in quality since Niels Christiansen took over in 2017. I don't even care so much about the prices, but they can't justify price increases to me when quality is going downhill.

Don't care about the price so much because I find sets for 20-40€ /$ less but I agree that most sets are great but those little details are destroying the hype and in general the fan base like bro custom lego molds are making a fig even better like the sun visor of a custom Cody cost us 2€/$ and to make it 0.10 cents 😂 like wtf is wrong with lego somethings cost literally cents but why not make them come lego stop being cheap

@@c-coin We Germans had this for years already, ever since the First Order AT-ST we had a "Hater" until he brought up some good points with the Grievous Starfighter. Then Lego sent some letters from their lawyers and he started the war against Lego

I think the prices need to be justified I'm paying 30$ for a 100 pcs build and four Minifigures the least they could do is add another figure to compensate for the price increase
From what a gather, 2 battle droids equal to 1 figure, so 2 battle droids seems good to me. Gives something for the clones to fight
