  • We're joined by PT and TPI medical expert Adam Halseth to talk about low back pain and what you can do about it in your golf swing.
We look at a few screens, warm up golf exercises and a quick hack to help with hip and mid back limitations in the golf swing.

Wow! Some videos identify the back problem but this one helps to correct and strengthen the muscles and increase mobility. Already one of my most valuable videos

So interesting what he says about stable and mobile parts. I definitely feel that when my hips aren't rotating I feel it in my knees, which is BAD! and what I do is flare out my feet like he said to avoid knee injury while increasing my rotation. Love the warmup exercises at the end!

This is awesome, and happens to be super relevant for me, because my hip rotation is limited. Thank you!

Great content. I would love to see/hear about what they gave you for an exercise/therapy regiment to fix these problems. I'm sure this video will be super relevant to this generation today.

Really valuable information here, but why did you fast forward through the stretches? I was most interested to hear what was being said during those segments :(

For those of us with, say, hip tightness, wouldn't that "warm-up" stretch be good to do as part of a stretching/exercise program at home every day?

I swing hard man. I came from baseball and all i ever learned was swing hard hard and harder. Im working on becoming a PGA pro right now and im finally experiencing the right side hip /groin leg pain. Its the worst timing for this.

I get a very strong dull pain on right side lower back every time I play golf.

Would have liked to see the warm-up exercises at a slower speed.

Where can one go in the Orlando area to get this assessment? Does Adam travel?

Best recommendation would be looking for a local TPI certified individual / www.mytpi.com/experts

This has no scientific research to back it up. There is only one golf coach in the world who had published scientific research and an alternative swing, and that is Reeves Weedon.
