30 years later, and i'm still in love with this game.
The most satisfying combo system of all fighting games.
The first time I played KI, I thought it was the coolest game ever, simply because I could play as a freaking werewolf!!!
This fighting game has everything anyone could ever want! Besides the werewolf, you have a dinosaur, a skeleton, a human torch, ice man, and a killer robot! There is also a ninja, a boxer, and some hot ass chick. What more could we fighting game players ask for?!?

The best sabrewulf ever, it looks like an actual werewolf and not that psychotic fox/coyote of the latest versions
I was always afraid of this character.
It's really scarry to fight against a werewolf.
SabreWulf is a BEAST in the arcade version of KI especially his Wolf Hollow
this was best played on an arcade machine you had to be there anyway great job i never seen anyone beat this with sabrewulf

I love this game, it was the first one with which I was determined to learn to do the combos of all the characters, obviously Sabrewulf is my favorite.
I wish they would release it for Steam, just like they are doing with the Marvel vs Capcom collection.
I wish they would remaster KI1and 2. Love those games.

loved this game as kid, it jumped on the fatalities fad from MK and had a great game play with the combo system. B.Orchid was the best, who knew flashing boobs could cause you instant death!
We need a new KI with gameplay from KI1, 4k graphics from KI2 and Remix songs from the original and make it as original looking as possible.
With the tech they have now they should remake this game. It would be crazy. Imagine a 2025 arcade version of this with same story line same everything just better graphic details and new tricks new characters

A great game, and still so pretty looking! I'm used to the SNES version, the arcade original feels much slower by comparison. Most likely because it has many more animation frames. But I love both.

Its annoying how the CPU keeps combo breaking you
CPU doesn’t even have to do the motions, it can just combo break you anytime it wants. There’s even a video where cpu cinder does two in a row somewhere on the CZcams
