Man, you gotta get an wideband gauge for that thing. You definitely need to know if it's leaning out or not, especially when you're foot is in it. Just something to think about. 👍
If you know how to read your plugs you don't need a gauge to tell u if you are fat or lean old school

I bought a Softtopper for my 68 and absolutely love it! The old shells are nice, but so much more convenient with the soft top!
For radiators the most important thing is the tube size. Aluminum radiators can be made with much larger tube sizes than copper/brass radiators and the aluminum radiators can use fins that aren't as tall so you can get more tubes in a given height!
Always look forward to your videos, especially the f100. Given me alot of inspiration and ideas for my 1964 Thunderbird with a 390 FE.
12:04 - I think us as gearheads now have a level of obligation to pass our love on to the future generation. The hobby will die out for sure if we don't. For me it's lifted 4x4, but that's the same general thing I go for in life. Better than any trophy.

friend of mine had build a remote turbo on his truck (right behind the cab under the bed ) , and to keep the heat in the exhaust he had wrapped them in headerwrap all the way to the turbo , he had a small oilleak leak oil on that headerwrap and it gotten so hot it caught fire one day people passing him honking and pointing and stuff untill he notices the smoke
he managed to get off the highway and get it out by trowing sand against it after he emptied his fire extinguisher on it but it cured him of using the stuff on a daily driver truck

I gotta ask how you getting away with your loud mufflers i grew up in the seventys as a teenager i used to caught in them chp road blocks all the time and get fixit tickets i know cali has new rules on loud mufflers just curious

People don't seem to understand how to break in a motor.
How many guys have even had their motor on a Dyno before it's installed in the car? Do you even know what's happening to an engine on a Dyno? All the rpm, and a load against it to measure how much work it puts in, right after the first warm up.
Every engine I've actually seen built, or done myself was assembled, warmed up to full temp once, maybe 10-15 minutes, (1500-2000 for flat tappet cams) and then driven....hard. drive it how your going to use it. If an engine was on the Dyno, it's already "broken in....".
Drift rc stuff is a riot. so much fun pr dollar. My son is 11 so we have several drift cars, drag cars, and rock crawlers. Highly recommend Sakura D3, good platform with lots of aftermarket support, hobbywing 7000+ kv brushless motor, and find a high speed servo(reefs, Holmes hobbies, 3 brothers all make really solid servos) for steering and pick any body you want. There are endless options from several companies.

The fact of the matter is that a new engine has to be run in.Simple!You just can’t start revving it up before the rings and pistons have seated. At least a 1000 miles and if possible after first start let it idle with a fan blowing at the rad,for 4/6 hours.That’s how you “hone”it in boy

hat i did was get a set of 16.5 rims then i can get military tires for 25 bucks with about 70% rubber 36.5 x 16.5 for my 70 high boy
Only doing it when it warms up is more than likely the exhaust above anything else that’s just my opinion

I have a 1975 F 100 long bed. My purchase to truck your watch 3 only 3. Now it's 4 on the floor motorcycle shopped at the car vaccine. Go get ronced OK Belmont to put a big box about a truck camper special 72 with a 390 big log. Go on to do an entrance swap? What's your time I can get? Add 4 flash? Don't really want to put to automatic. I know my tram mission off My 302 won't fit same. So I guess I'm looking for a full speed transmissio 4A390.

I am building a scsb square body Dakota small block 5 speed I challenge you to a race I’ve been watching you since I was in high school and this Dakota was my first truck as well so hopefully you will see this and not think of me coming off as a d**k and just someone who’s wanting to compare to small blocks built similar just different brands
