That goal from Super Jack had everything... The drive of a Gerrard, silky dribbling of a Ronaldo, vision and awareness of a Bergkamp, finish of a Henry and the way he floats over the turf so effortlessly reminds me of Brian Laudrup soo much. Personally I think this is goal of the season and the best goal he has ever scored for Villa, it was all his own work, fantastic goal and it was a masterstroke giving him the captaincy. UTV
@Pophut Media and rightly so his goal against Sheffield wed was awesome, I guess it's hard to compare a one touch finish an unreal volley with very high level of technique to a mesmerising 'grab the game by the balls' take on half the team dribble, with 2 one twos and a calm slotted finish at the end. Very difficult to judge but in the context of the game and the importance of it and against the odds with 10 men away from home to complete the come back I personally think this is our current goal of the season UTV

The team all around were brilliant but Steer, McGinn, Elmo and Kodjia were astounding. What character and team spirit we shown. UTV
Steer clearly is our best keeper mate
@@bidhanchan He has been excellent so far but I wouldn't say clearly. Kalinac was injured straight away and Nyland was getting better (and was quite good his last few games) before getting injured. I'd say steer is probably the most Consistent keeper. Nyland is similar to lloris in the sense that they can both make cracking stops but both have a stupid mistake in them just lloris does much more of the former than the latter.
Hopefully nyland will grow out of it soon.

Agree Steer is our best no.1, and agreed. Plaudits especially to Jedi who was almost impeccable considering his age and time out of the game, whilst playing out of position
@Trojan Buns Jedi had his best game of the season and tuanzebe made some key challenges as well. Hopefully Hause will be back for the next game and Chester recovers in time for the play offs so we can have some serious centre half depth

Great decision making from Elmo reversing the pass back to Jack, everyone expecting it to go across goal, no one expected it to go back there, even Jack was caught off guard momentarily before burying it. UTV.

This was 100% the best away day for me from this season, fans quite depressed during half time. Some talking about the playoffs being out the window. Second half begins, the players all sprint out, mcginn chased everything and the fans were bouncing the whole time. And the second goal obviously

Saturday I think Kodjia deserves to start, played brilliant on Wednesday. I'd go for it, high press with Tammy and Kodjia up top make Brustol have to defend against 2. As a 4 in behind McGinn Jack and Hourihane, with Whelan sitting (Whelan was poor against Sheff Wednesday but at home this would suit how he plays)

It was a shit penalty. See Kodjia on how to take a penalty. 2 keepers and that would still have gone in.
Of course, if he had scored the penalty, then Jack wouldn't have scored that wonder goal, although perhpas a different one. So maybe just as well he missed.

Our penalty in the first half should have been re-taken because of encroachment into the penalty area by Rotherham players before the kick taken.
