- This nice little Husqvarna chain saw came in. It had no bar, no chain and a damaged brake. I could not find out what happened to it and I think some one put on the wrong clutch as well, as the parts diagram shows a 6 tooth sprocket not a 7.
Great video Bruce.Between you Taryl and Mick i have learned alot.I enjoy all of your videos.Hope you have a great day
Thanks Tom.

@@BrucesShop LOL 😂
Fun to watch you work through a saw ! Thanks Bruce ! 👍
Thanks I am getting more comfortable on these.
I like this husqvarna chainsaw. Something u don't see everyday.
It was made in 92
You really have become the chain saw whisperer. There is a lot to take apart on one of those bad boys but it's fun watching you doing it. Thanks
I am getting a lot more practice latey.
Very interesting repair. Looking forward to part 2.
Me too :-)
Nice video, my friend Bruce... I learned a few things.

Great job sir
Thanks again Daryl.
Great vid Bruce. Gives me some confidence to have a look at my own non running Poulan Pro 14". It has the fire inside, but wont draw fuel. Looking forward to part the second.
Cheers.
Pressure test the carb even with your lungs on a clean tube.
@@BrucesShop Ahh, yep, ok, shall try.
On many 2-strokes that have been sitting unused for months or years, cleaning the carburetor and replacing the metering diaphragm gets them running.
I subscribed to both Leon and Ken a while back at your recommendation
Great. Good going.
Thanks for the shout out Bruce. I used to be scared of 2 strokes until I started studying up on them and got the right tools! Good job my friend!
Ken I’m still in the scared stage
@@haneyoakie14 harbor freight now sells an affordable hand pump that does both vacuum and pressure so digging in to 2 strokes should be a piece of cake!
www.harborfreight.com/dual-vacuumpressure-hand-pump-kit-56803.html
@@KensSmallEngineRepair I saw that and plan to get one. Over the last year I have added a lot of helpful equipment Mustie1 style, yard sales and auctions. The vacuum pump will be HF, but I have added a big air compressor, compression tester, shops lights, a vice and a grinder all on the cheap.
@@haneyoakie14 Yes I used to be it intimidated by 2 stroke stuff. I then started to understand the small things that can trip you up on Chain saws even after they are running. . A weak sprocket will spin the chain at too low a RPM for example causing a stalling saw or a spinning chain at the correct RPM Things like that.
Hi Bruce, I've been using a wire weld gun for plastic with cracks like that. Works great and not expensive around $35 cdn. Bought on Amazon. Anyways great repair as always in the B.P. shop.
Thanks Blair.
I had the same issue, I filed down a huge nut to fit in and then used epoxy resin to glue up the crack and stick the nut in so it's 'captive'.
Right. Part 2 is coming. I did buy the adjusting screw though
Crud Bunnies, LOL.
Yes there are all kinds of evil dirt.
I think I could plastic weld that crack and reinforce it with some wire melted in it Just and Idea
You could i know t.
Hey Bruce wear did you get your driver's you use in your drill when your working on something I like them I need to get me a set like that I'm always working on something
I found them on Amazon but too long ago to get a sheet on them. Google 1/4 inch driver attachments.
How's she goin'? I have worked on many Husky chainsaws and getting the carbs on and off is always a struggle. You did well on this one!!! Take care!!
The hard part for me is not knowing what happened to it before it came to me.
Wait are we having to wait.. mannnn .. a nice old saw.. looks like it's done some work.. but now its in your hands she will be as good as new
Thanks again sir Mick
Hi Bruce got a quick question where can I get a FLASLIGHT like the one you're using? Great job once again Thanks
It was a gift. But it is broken now, I can't help you. Just google led flashlight :-(
He came, he SAW, he conquered
Oh my that is deep. LOL
@@BrucesShop well well well. Now that is deep x3
