It's a shame that it has taken as long as it has for him to be more accepted in the black community. But as with anything else you have to try it to know if you like it. I don't think newcomers to Eminem who even if they were already fans of rap knew what to expect going in. Until you actually pay attention to his bars and music you can't fully appreciate the intricacy and detailed work that Eminem crafts his tracks with. Until many actually listened to him they didn't know what they were in for, You just can't plan or imagine a person being able to rap the way he does. The way he bends, contorts and places his bars is unlike anything the rap game had/has ever seen. Someday take the time to look up lyrics to one of his songs and try and say it the way he does. You'll see just how talented he is to be able to do that without tying his tongue in a knot.
All of this is why it's crazy that racist people like Lord Jamar and Nick Cannon sit there and try and claim Eminem is a guest in this house (HIp Hop) because he's white. There isn't an argument to be made in the World where the top selling hip hop artist could possibly be a guest. They're jealous plain and simple. Couple that with their obvious racism and you get stupid comments like that.
I've made this point on a couple other videos so if you've read it already then ignore it but...Calling Eminem (or any other white artist) a "guest" in hip hop is so ridiculous and disgusting and hypocritical. You don't hear people saying Lebron James or Steph Curry are guest in basketball and the NBA do you? Well if Eminems a guest in hip hop then they're guest in basketball. After all basketball originally was only played by white people and not to mention it was invented by a white guy. So if white people are guest because hip hop was originally a black people creation than black people are guess in baskeball, how ridiculous is that statement? Well same as the one above.
