Faisal bhai , from personal experience of going on a road trip in a fortuner, the 4x2 Diesel AT gave a respectable mileage of 15.8 km/l over a distance of 380 kms when driven sedately and in a city like Hyderabad tooo, in the afternoon traffic it will return around 9-10km to the litre. It all comes down to how gentle you can be with the car , at the same time keeping up pace withe the rest of the traffic.

@@CircularArcI own one. Not the new one buy the og 2014 fortuner . There’s no car with that road presence , long journey comfort and driving feel. The engine simply sounds magnificent even now .

@@Nissinteredi can agree with you. the thing is that considering the time of 2014, only fewer people were interested in SUVs and Fortuner was Dominant then because of size, features(2014 standard), road presence .. in conclussion u felt like King of the road but now with new SUVs like Gloster Scorpio N XUV700 which offer the same things on a lower price offering decent power can even give you King of the road feel

One thing is that Toyota actually removed the JBL speakers from the fortuner and increased the prices ;) what the fluff is wrong with Toyota and now the JBL speakers are provided as an accessory ;)

@@AAYUSH_YADAV oh great so is the JBL speakers are fitted as an accessory or u got it as an standard fitment because toyota removed the JBL music system from the fortuner not recently it's been an year since they have removed this feature

Toyota Fortuner in South East Asia seems to look loaded with features when compared to the Indian variants. Saw it first hand a few weeks back.
I would recommend you to do a review on the pajero sport 2014 model which would be a far stunnig competitor to fortuner in all aspects

The herd mentality stuff is true we owning 4 toyotas From a 2015 Innova, an etios cross, corolla altis and the innova crysta basically we are a Toyota household i can say one thing without any doubt the fortuner is a good product but just AINT WORTH the Price and as you rightfully said there are far better options out there for half the price for example the Scorpio N ... If I have a budget of around 60-65lakhs and I need/want an Off-road SUV, I would rather go with the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with around 10,000kms first owner. Jeep also holds its value well, more capable off-roader, more power, proper SUV feel and the only thing lacking is reliability

I've seen armada i mean the patrol...i saw it in this place called Richmond town mosque street... and my previous boss owned this toyota land cruiser in ooty...they are very nice looking vehicles...big japanese v8 vehicles...but if your somewhat less on money but still want to buy a big reliable suv i think the fortuner is an amazing vehicle...i like the ford endeavours but yeah they are very less nowadays in india....if its all about reliability and not being scared to take it far and off road its amazing for a Japanese car 💙
