Blizzard Did TBC Classic Wrong.

- With the release of Blizzard's Classic WoW, many things came to light that ruined the game and allowed Blizzard to break their promises to the players when the project was first originally announced. TBC had the worst of the problems and was pretty much neglected by both Blizzard and the players. In this video I go over some of these issues, and where the fixes for them are to be implemented.

I don't think Blizzard could have made the game good. The community just sucks and that's why the game sucked. No matter what Blizzard would have tried to keep the community in check, they would just have found loopholes.
It's not 2007 anymore and everything has changed since then. People don't log into an MMORPG anymore to chat with guildies in a chat room, where you also play an Avatar in a shared world. People log in nowadays to get stuff done while watching Netflix on the second screen or talking to their friends, who play Valorant, on discord.
Thinking WoW could ever be the same experience as it was back in the day is delusional. Just like you couldn't recreate the early 2000s experience with myspace, browser games, ICQ and stuff like this today, you can't recreate the WoW experience, from the time when WoW was still novel, today. It's just how it is. The society changed, the Internet changed, the community changed, the infrastructure around the game changed, the addons changed, the guides changed even you changed, no matter if you admit it or not.
I tend to agree here with a lot you said. My whole point revolving around this video is to discuss that the community for wow is absolutely trash, and where blizzard could have implemented things to make the experience good for people who chose to remain out of touch from the community cesspool and stick entirely to their guild. They were doing everything wrong since fall of the lich king. Blizzard is long ago finished as a studio we remember. Warcraft 3 -Refunded- Reforged is the best example, not a single word needed.

I agree with a lot of your opinions and analysis, however if I did not, they would be easy to dismiss, as you do not present any data to support them.
Blizzard has for years redesigned their mmorpg to discard it's mmo and rpg elements in favor of convenience, cheap success and false achievements. What's left is basically a shallow husk with the gameplay quality of a poor browser game.
I would love to start scraping data for other topics and such however, I merely just wanted to create discussion and see who agrees and who doesn’t. I’m not sure though something like this even requires data. It’s more of a if you know you know sort of thing. I see your point though. Hoping to build this community and cover topics that other people want to see. Maybe a discord channel for the CZcams community 🤷🏻♂️
Thats why I loved HC wow classic, very few bot, no instance farming before level 60. Everyone trying to help eachother. High stake all the time. Nobody was rushing.

also most of the droptables are fucked - some spells don't even work as intended - some quests are bugged and no good addons

He had me up until the point he said players couldn't clear sunwell without addons. Bro the game is not as hard as you think it is. Go do 1 mythic boss in retail. Players are so much better now than they were. Its disgusting.

It’s not 2007 anymore, TBC raids and dungeons have been solved thousands of times already in private servers so it’s no surprise raids were cleared within hours of release.
Your ethic “laundry list” existed in original BC: boosting , GDKPs, gold RMT, farming mats and I could go on.
I can try to agree with your argument, but it’s rose tinted all around it and as I stated, it’s been almost 17 years since TBC, if you are expecting the same player base that doesn’t know what to do or how to play let me tell you you’ll never relive those memories again ever.
Last but not least, karazhan was cleared in basically full T3 because the player skill cap is way waaay higher than back in the day, more stable internet and more knowledge of the game and that’s going to happen with all the versions coming forward of classic since everything has already been done and there’s plenty of guides, WAs and addons that will help players out to do it.
